Like phil mentioned, good work with orchestral and stuff.

Though I have problems with the drums…hmm how to say that? The half speeded drums are well done, but I personally don’t fancy the programming of the ones up to 1:49. Imo they don’t flow really well and they destroy the tunes vibe in a way.

Oh and I’d kill that hi hat playing every 2 bars in the beginning, it sounds so programmed and cheap in a way. Adding a cympal like you did in the breakdown worked really well so that might be an option too.

Maybe turn up your strings in the main part a bit.

I’m sorry that most I was criticising is on a more personal preference level, but maybe others will agree…maybe not.

anyway I liked some elements here, the bassline sounds pretty good, too.

keep it up and finish it.

Cheers mate!

Thanks ppl for comments. Glad u like this. I was going for more off-beat style as Ketz mentioned. Not really a dancefloor track, more like chillout kinda track. Keep it comming. Cheers

The orchestral things in the intro are sounds cool. The bassline is heavy. I usually dont like this kind of drums but that fits well with the track the half-timed beats as well. I like the buildup, want to hear the finished stuff.
Nice work I like it.

intro orchestral stuff is sweet man, nice work there! arrangment nice, all good stuff. drum programming is phat, not the usual...well put together. overall sound quality on this is spot on, really well put together, sub is nice and big and deep, some real sweet bass sounds too.
half-step section - oh yes lovely stuff. really nice. the struture could ne a bit better imo but its a preview so i guess that'll get sorted at some point. not much to criticise here really...sounds really well put together....perhaps a tad more high-end in the drums would brightne things up a bit...but overall really good tune.

Epic intro, quality string part there. Really changes as it goes along, very much like a movie score. I like the beats aswell, great balance of programming skills vs. sense of groove, loving them. Big Grin Listening to it for a third time, I only just noticed that really dirty bassline underneath the strings.. how the hell did I miss that?! Really nice mate!!

Hey man,

Intro to this track is really good. I like seeing orchestral stuff in DnB. Maybe you could get some more layers in the intro. More strings and maybe some bassy brass instruments. The beat for me just isn't quite there. The snare seems way to hollow and the kick could do with some change in velocity and it's envelope over time. Especially when there is a double kick. The bass is really good, could maybe do with some EQ but i'm not the person to be lecturing on how to make a bass sound.

Anyways, i hope i helped. Keep it up!.

Yeah man, enjoying the string vibes here. You might want to turn them up tho cos they should be more dominant I reckon. Structure is pretty tight the whole way through. The bass is very nice. I love the way it follows the kicks, makes the whole tune very rhythmic. I could deffo jive to this. Overall, the tune could do with boosting. Everything just needs to sound a bit bigger and fuller, more in-your-face. Very nice tune tho mate. Enjoyed! Big Grin

ur stuff is shit hot m8, soundin really original. love the strings an orchestral sounds, sometimes they can sound a bit out of place in dnb but its worked really well here. were they from samples, or plugins, samplers etc, or a bit of both?? nice 1.
