This has given me some inspiration actually, which I've been lacking recently. Yep, that snare sounds live. I like it but it's too snappy and high for me. You need to EQ some of the highs out and add some low-end to it. Basslines are pretty good but, as was already mentioned, you need to layer them with a sub. The structure is strange in some places. It doesn't always flow. I'd try to avoid introducing too many different sounds and melodies.
