I don't really like this intro at all.
I think the drum sounds were a way to loud in the intro.
Maybe you could use some diferent drum kit to use in the begining of your track.
It sounds like you're a producer in the begining.
But that is very good, for someone in the begining this track is not bad at all.
But try pay more attention to the first minute of the track.
Lots of work to be done there(in my humble opinion)
Keep working.
The drums during the track dont change, not even once.
I believe you need some more drum rolls, more work in the bass line.
Make it the thing more dirty.
Is not such a bad track,it just sounds someone in the first steps.
Keep going.
Nice one mate.
Cheers Suspender
Yes mate, this needs a lot of work still but ur on the right track i think. The Bass is pretty standard but thuds along quite nicely. You could do with changing it up a bit cos it gets quite repetative after a while. Same with the drums, they need more depth to them, add some more hats shuffles and a break or whatever to get them sounding fat. I like some of the sounds in the intro, this could be explored more, and as son as that kick drum comes in, the ambience youve created is fighting for breath to be heard and imo doesn't work too well. Gotta keep the pads or ambience flowing throughout the track to fill in the gaps and make it sound deeper, if you know what i mean. Anyways nice work for a bare bones track.. just gotta build on it now.
cool sfx
fat kik is good always important that
first drop is a bit of a let down needs a rollin beat cool bass seq tho
bro grab that bassline bounce it down layer it upover itself make TOO fat then just drop a rudebwoy rollin dillinja or krust style break over it and you will be onto a TUNE!
totally cool basslines at 2.40
just the drums that let it down
if i heard those drums in club an i was pissed i would be like. wtf??
dope bassline tho
ez mate, woah that kick is proper boomy eh! i think that could be toned downa touch also maybe make it slightly shorter so it sounds sharper overall
nice mad jump up style stuff on the drop, i think u defo need more beat fillers, get some more hihats in there to make it roll better, beat is a bit minimalistic otherwise, also try n cut a loop up, high pass it and see if that helps give the beat more oomph and body
some cool ideas here geeza i think u could also get some mroe layers on some of those synth basses, give them a bit more texture, try getting some mroe synths involved and modulate them to give a bit more movement.
always room for more fx, (but i always just like loadsa fx in tnues generally so may be an "imo" thing lol)
not bad overall mate i'd say defo keep at it most importantly get more layers on that beat
