Hehe true oldskool video game style Big Grin

If you view it that way it's really a delicious track, with funny sounds and melodies all over the place. Not your average dnb roller Big Grin

The melodies are nice too, and there is more variation that there appears to be, choruses coming in, pan effects and a lot of attention to little details.

Mix needs some work though, it's all very sharp and very deep with a big hole in the middle. You pay a lot of attention to each individual sound (you can clearly hear this in the intro - every sound is great on its own). That's a typical mistake: when you mix 20 great sounds together you don't end up with a great mix. Most of the sounds have either too much bottom end or too much high end and they clash with eachother. Also the general balance needs a good makeover, for example the snare is WAY too loud and sharp!

Do you have some more info on how you made it?? And do you know other tracks in this style? Big Grin

I use... drum rolls: Jeskola Buzz Tracker, edit a bit in sound forge, then master using t-racks.

I have other tracks I'll upload soon. I'm taking a video gamey spin off John B Electrostep style. I call my stuff Tronstep hehe...

You use Buzz too? Nice Smile

Think the low end is fine (goes deeep Smile Good vibrations Big Grin ) but too much hi end indeed, especially the snare
After the drop there is a lot less bass in the track, which is a bit of a pity.
Melodies and stuff are nice, but not really my thing, not to fond of the old computergame music...
