VITAL SUBSTANCE
Born on the outskirts of London, Richard Martin had always been attracted to the bright lights of the emerging rave scene in the early 90’s. Raving by the age of 13, it was not long before Richard had mastered the art of mixing, and was playing out at various local under 18’s raves spinning Drum n’ Bass and UK Garage.
Now living in Brixton, London and producing as Vital Substance, Richard is concentrating solely on producing Breakbeat. He can incorporate his love of House, Drum n’ Bass, Electro and Hip Hop into this genre. As an avid club goer and DJ, Richard knows what works well on dance floors, and is making music to play out in his peak time sets. Blending bumpy funked up Breakbeats, with dirty electro grooves and synth lines, Richards music is guaranteed to smash floors to pieces. His tracks have been played out at many big parties now, a highlight being at the Glade Dance Music festival this summer.

NICKBEE
At just the age of 17 Nickbee has accomplished more in these short years then most will in a lifetime. Compelled and encouraged Nickee has swept across the globe from his small town in Dneprodzerzhynsk, Ukraine. His tunes have reached the dance floors in almost every corner of the planet, including total DJ support from the likes of Billain, Noxius, Maztek and so on. When Nikolay Bogomolov also now known ass Nickbee, was 13 years old when Ukrainian Drum and Bass producer and activist Alexander Pavlenko (Sunchase) sat down with Nick and showed him the world of Cubase for the first time Nickbee felt like he had to sit down and master this craft so he saught out over the next 4 until he felt he had greatly improved his technique and sound, and then began to show the world his sound and style. Largely inspired by the sounds of BSE, Concord Dawn & earlier sounds of Sunchase and Noisia he saught out to create a sound of his own methods and those taught to him along the way. 17 and well on his way into a world of proper production and professional releases on labels such as Black Reign Ltd, The Factory, Ammunition Recordings and much more to be announced soon! Nick has also taking up djing and well be performing more and more in 2009 plans beyond!
