Hey, good choice in logic.. it really is the bizniss. For basslines get your head around the ES2 synth. It's not as complicated as it seems when you play around with it. Switch all the oscillators to saw waves and detune them to where you like. Thats the best advice to start with. From there you can tweak it to make a reese or a bass patch. Basslines are personal preference, that shit comes from your soul ..
For a sub bass, open up the or EXS. Before you load anything into the settings, just play a note. Thats a pure sine wave. Layer that under a bassline for insta-sub. Play around with it to get it sounding the way you want it.
