Hello,

I have some problems adding sub. I used different instruments in ableton, but none of them satisfies me, but the problem can be my own incompetence ofc. So, I was wondering which instrument you guys use to put a sub underneath a track and how you make it fit?

Thank you very much! Tongue Big Grin

well i dont use ableton but the way i do it should be easy to do in live

just get a synth with a sine wave, turn the octave down a couple.

add some tape saturation or some tube style distortion (only a lilttle mind) and then low pass filter leaving just a little bit of harmonics from the distortion.

and there you go, simple sub

Im using z3ta+ mostly for making my subs, but also sylenth1.

On z3ta+ i take 3 osc, all sines and cut out everthing above 70-80hz depends on what track, then i add the BD between 80-120hz.

Tell me what vst´s you have and ill make you an example (if i have the same vst then)
