Please check out my new track 'Dodders - Vigilante' and post your comments here!
Heres a preview of one of my latest tracks im working on, quite far from being finished but thought id let you guys hear it. ive taken the acapella off of it to put on here, sounds a bit bare with out it, if you want to hear it with the acapella then ive put it on mega upload - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0QO8S3S1 any feedback would be much appreciated.

The break edits are awesome, some wicked old school business man. The bass need some crazy variations. Now it sounds too simple with the crazy beat edits. I would add some more fx definitely. The guitar in the background just isnt enough. Cheers, good so far

sound, will deffinately be adding some more fx later and will probs take out a couple of the break edits or move them around cos theres a couple in there that kinda stops the flow and just dont suit where they are, it needs the acapella with it though, i love the acapella i have used for it.

I quite like this, I’d speed the whole thing up though.
Don’t like your intro drums, sample sounds pretty low quality and low passed.
Heavy sub bass…I think it needs some eqing so that your kick (that you should boost) has more space.
Edits are well done, but as I said, try a bit more bpm that might sound cooler.
I agree with wrm about variation and that you need some more elements in here.
peace.

really oldskool vibe
not so found of the intro kick snare, sounds little to chopped
its more a beatlike track, it misses melody I think
srry man not feeling this one

yeh i see wot you all mean about the intro beat, its taken from quite an old break ive got. the tune is a bit simple at the moment, ive had to put it up without the acapella which makes it seem a lot more simpler than it is.

Yeah junglist, i like this track, it reminds me of the old school element and i'm sure thats kind of comeing back when you listening to whats out there right now. The old skool breaks at the beginning to the ragga vocal sample, then the amen break( which is my favourite) ,then the b-line is heavy... yeah big up

Some nice old skool junglist programming here. I'm a sucker for junglist vibes tho because it was all the rage when I first got into dnb and I loved it. Still do. Although the amen break has been chopped, mashed, and remashed in every way conceivable by a million different dnb artists, it still sounds good. I like what you've done here. But yeah, you said there is an acapella missing, and it shows. It needs a lead element to give it some focus. Sounds kinda empty without it. Overall tho, this is good stuff. Nice EQing.

lol, lovely old-skool vibe, makes me wanna don a rasta hat and bounce down the street with a ghetto blaster on my shoulder....
track seems a little emptyto be honest, not enough low end, i mean there is some deep sub but its not big enough and theres not enough low end in the drums to gel it all together. could use a nice big, heavy kick i think. some crazy drum edits throughout. nicely programmed tune, jus lacking something like a main vocal or main lead to make it memorable.

Firstly, what a refreshing change to hear a tune like this. Glad to see people are still keeping the old skool vibe alive. Ragga type stab and the vocal samples fit in perfectly and I love the classic beat before the drop. Some really nice breaks going on in the track and it really reminds me of Remarcs drum patterns. Man, this takes me back to raving at Quest in Birmingham back in the Jungle days! Only tiny gripe really is that the bass is very low but not sure if that is intentional?
Absolutely loving the vibe to this tune and hope to hear more in the future!

WICKED. Proper nice sounding drumloops and interesting fills. Good use of samples (is it 'the harder they come'?)
Kinda dub step / drum n bass crossover.
I LIKE IT
