I got my newest laptop last August and started to transfer most of my music software and files onto it to work wherever I go, if I have my laptop with me of course. (Windows Vista platform.....Looking to get more money for a mac). In early-September I tried putting Cool Edit Pro (pretty sure it was 2.0) onto my laptop. This program worked very well on my desktop computer, which has Windows XP. When it was installed onto my laptop, Windows Vista, a message came up saying something like >>"this program may have not been properly installed...you can try re-installing it or just proceeding with opening the program"<< Now, no matter what I chose... I would open the program, and it would almost always stop and just close out completely...without any notice or anything... I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar? And maybe if there is a solution I would love for anyone to share. Thanks so much for anything anyone has to contribute. But I have that problem with a few other programs too ... FL8, Dreamweaver 8 & also Cs3 version amongst a few other programs ...
