Please check out my new track 'Yamato Jungle' and post your comments here!

Description:
This is more of a Japanese styled jungle tune; we also made a slide show/video using Japanese pictures for the song. Enjoy.

Interesting intro. Happy

The drop isn't bad, but not keen on the high pitch synth. It could do with a few sound fx chucked in really. Maybe change the melody, it gets abit boring after a while.

drums need fattening up. Bit weak...

Half time is ok, but the melody is annoying now

Not bad though Happy

I like the initial idea of this. The sub in the begining having the same notes as the china synth lead thing let it sound dull though.

your half speeded drums sound better then your full speed ones I recon. They are more clear and punchy. You should rework this.

Like I said, I like the idea but it needs some more variation. Cheers.

i am a big advocate of international influences in drum n bass - love the japanese um kyoto is it? dunno that plucking string thing - i like it! like the bass sync with it

original track- thats for sure! beat is punchin thru nice but i would like to hear a bit more on the shuffle end of things -make em more prominenet

some nice synth bass work creepin in here n there

1:53 i like that synth Big Grin

the melodies are sounding cool, just need to gel just that tad bit more as u got quite a few different sounds going on so i know it'll make it that little bit trickier to sort out but im sure u will with enough perseverence!

overall, this was a very refreshing listen for me, been reviewing tunes for the last couple hours or so, so this wa a breath of fresh air Big Grin

Thanks for the listen, we will get those drumz to punch a bit more, they are a little muddy in this mix. We will see if we can sort out the arrangement issues. Cheers. Z

Strange. Big Grin Not my bag but still a good effort I reckon. Production is top quality as usual from you guys. Only thing I would say about the beats is that they have too many tops on them, especially the snare. Then again, that's the sound you were probably going after, so ignore that if you want. Happy

Melodies fit well together but they didn't inspire me tbh. Just personal pref, I'm sure others would be feeling this. I do really, really like that dubstep-style bass tho. Lots of textures and modulation, sounds really evil. I'd actually turn that up. You could even turn this into a dubstep tune I reckon. The half-time section is excellent.

The snare has too many high layers? We will think about doing a dubstep version. Cheers. Z
