Dirty south: Audio Habitat hail from the Southern German city of Stuttgart with a load of tracks in tow. Sidechain hits the decks first for all those shopping the world wide web for some world wide working tunes.
You can’t deny hip-hop being some sort of key to the sound of jumpy drum-n-bass. Audio Habitat don’t go for the average halftime-beatdown conveying the roots. “Check This Out” has strong b-boy vibes in sound and vision. A starter of a track that pounds heavy on the bass and rolls like the wheels in some gangster movie. The scene is coloured with car-chasing sounds, signals and the most absurd hissing hihats sounding like threatening knives. Run quick, take the streets folks!
