Please check out my new track 'Just After A Sound Quality Reveiw' and post your comments here!
This track is just a quick knock off done with Reason 3
I have used a compression combi on the drums and some side chaining with the bass. I would like some feedback on the sound. Is everything sounding even? enough bass, ect. thanks...

nice chilled intro. Whoah, that sub is sick...the break is nice and punchy but i dont like the snare though. I would add some nice rollin hihats over it, those you have there are good but not rollin enough. Nice preview so far!!
btw...you owe me a review, lol...nah just take a listen and review if u want...Ride or Die (track name)
drums - nice & sliced, & plenty of variety, just what I like to hear.
bass - ,missing! i heard only a small amount & what i did hear was way too quiet!
sound - good quality yeah but levels are all wrong & there isnt hardly any variety in sounds or there at least doesnt appear to be.
overall - not on of the best tunes ive heard on here.
yeh sound wise, i think most of the sounds sound good, they sit well in the mix - the squelchy bass tho, i rekon that could do with more layering or grit, it sounds like one sound at the mo. drums, the snare could do with a brighter specimen over the top of it imo, yeh they could be made a little more rolly too, i wouldnt complain if they had slightly more punch too. theres a shaker every 1/4, it sounds a little too prominent there, it could do with some more sounds to back it up in the higher spectrum.
peace

revel in the crapness of the website and then hit the add button... go on, do it, u know u wanna
brucey baby is in da house!! where all the tunage gone man?! still sortin out ur laptop and broadband?! lol
nice intro, bit of the mash up vibe goin on - we goin back to the ol 4am rollers? i miss them man!
the snare could either be shortened a bit and layered with something that snaps a bit more man
possibly some faster hihats or shakers in the beat more more rolliness.
well done on sidechaining, i still have no clue lol
overall really diggin the vibe man, would like to hear this on a big sound system, have that bass vibrate me ribcage, good work, keep em comin and make sure u get this one finished!
wow nice chilled vibe on start ,want some more of this ! I know this break that you used in this one ,nicelly sliced ,Still i will add some more atmospheric sounds to it some softie synths ,sounds ,very wide ,will work pretty nice with this sharp bass sound,Love this one ,keep it up !
Yep, deffo liking this one. Sound quality wise, it's pretty good. No real complaints on that front. The only thing I would do with the beats tho would be to EQ some more highs in there. Maybe increase the mids a touch too. Nothing too drastic tho, just enough to bring them out a bit.
The bass is ok but needs more volume imo. Also, give it a touch of stereo panning to widen it a bit.
Melody wise, it's good stuff. Deffo has your style in this, it's got that slightly late-90s dnb sound.
Nice work mate.

intro nice, rhodes style pads are lush...intro break is nice, kick nice and low and pumping.
break could use a main kick and snare over the top of it too make em stand out more.
bass is a little weak to my ears, needs to be bought forward more, boost in levels, maybe some minor eq boosting at certain frequencies.
sound quality is decent overall, jus lacks high frequnecies really to make it bright, sounds a little dull at the moment.
not bad tho.
