Not quite finished, outro still needs work...
quick master aswell, bit of eq and a waves l2 to pump it up but no real time spent on mastering....
comments welcome!
ooooh, scary sounds on the intro, makes me wana fire me catapult at a cat
, good stuff. not a big fan of those quiet drums in the background tho, i rekon u could lose em or fade them in faster.
the drop for me lacks a bit of punch and uuurg, u know wot i mean? the drums could do with a bit more punch, thats maybe why, the edits on it r good tho. also the bass noise could b a bit more fuller - eg more synths layered on it.
overall this is a good track, great ideas, great atmos, evil soundalage
peace

This is sounding very good Septh. It's almost got a pro sound, especially with all that filtering and modulation going on. Also, the structure is pretty typical of a lot of pro tunes. Nice one, that is the way to go.
I agree with the Shinster that the drop is lacking some oophm. It's almost there but it just feels like there's something missing. I often use this analogy and I'm gonna use it again - the drop sounds like it's in fourth gear. It needs a bit more power to get it into fifth. An extra drum loop with high pass would probably do the trick.
Oh, I forgot to mention the intro... very errie. Builds up the vibe very nicely.
The half-tempo section kinda sounds a little weird to me. I would replace the filtered breaks in the intro with the half-tempo stuff and then go straight into the drop. Going from the filtered breaks, to the half-tempo stuff and then into the drop doesn't quite work for me. Personal pref tho.
Bassline is very good. I love that modulation you get. Any clues how that was done? There's a nice amount of sub in this tune too.
Overall, very nice indeed. A few tweaks and you're there.

cheers guys.
yeh bass is jus a really phattened up saw wave that i manipulated from a basic one to really beef it up then bounced down, bass was then split into 3 sections, low, mid and mid-high with eq to remove the relevant freuqnecies to make em sit together well. then a bass boost and some slight distortion from izotope izone on the sub, camel phat and lots of filter automation on the mid-range, as well as some lfo automation to give it movement, then a high-passed mid-high band of the bass with loads of distortion and more automation on chorus amount, filters to give it an extra bit of shine.
i think it lacks some bang on the drop cuz of the shite quick mastering job i did, listened to it on some crappy speakers and the l2 settings i used seem to crush it to much when it drops, need to look at the mix again and make it quieter so the l2 doesn't crush the hell out of everything.
the kick after the drop could do with some boosting, add an extra hard hitting kick in there, and maybe layer some ghost stares and high end from an amen or something to spread it a bit.
bass is good, could maybe bring the sub down a bit, dont get me wrong i love bass but ur drowning out the rest of the frequencies with it.
a very good track but like you said, you havent spend much time on mastering and it shows. you got a lot of potential as a producer
__ Forget liquid, jump up and darkside drum n bass is the way forward!
ez Seph, u seem to be a busy man comin up with all these tunes recently! wish i could say the same but me pc has fucked up!
good atmo building in the intro - nice variety of sounds there - all work very well together - very moody i like a lot
yup like the way u brought that beat in, its all flowing really well so far - good structure / buildup in the intro man, also good for a DJ to mix if this was pressed on vinyl
signature seph stuff here -eerie vocal, bad boy reese action
(although i prefer the 300 one personally a bit more!)
yea the drop melodies are cool as are the transitions but the energy seems to have been lost a bit by this time, i don't know if u want to get some faster melodies with that reese to keep up withthe pace that built up so well?
still meldoes work really well, just need to somehow inject more energy into this one
nevertheless - really impressive stuff so far man - what do u use to make ur reeses?
ps love that lil kick variation, hopeu know the one im on about - works a treat!
I was waitin for lucifer to come out of the speakers to get me
Like this dark vibe, wow ! nice drooooop ! very good use of vocal ,relly good bass sounds ,sub is just perfect.Beats needs more variation hihat wise ,Overal is great production ,sub bass kills !
I like the intro it has very exciting scary atmosphere. Like the filtered beats in there too.
When the bass come in the beats became too low imo. The bassline is really huge.
Like the synths come in 3:30. The vocal fits well with the track.
I'd like to hear the finished version. Good work
I'm don't really like the intro,it is boring,i think it could have some kinda of percussion since the beggining.
Nice drum's..... when they start.
The Bass sound it is noy original at all.
The quality of the sound is actually ok.
Keep trying son.

Realy? I thought the intro was fuggin' sweet! Eerie as fuck mate, nice one! The drop and the rolling section need more oomph as others have pointed out and maybe another pad or something to fill in the gaps of atmosphere just left by the bassline. Loving that bass sound and respect for giving a little insight into how it was made.
