Please check out my new track 'Music To Move The People (feat. Forensics)' and post your comments here!
Yo
Ez peeps
A while since I posted anything on here. Been lackin some inspiration and time lately tbh.
Vocals courtesy of Forensics provided on a creative commons license. Big respect and wicked vocal
Quite a mainstream dancefloor smasher vibe I think and certainly a departure from what Id normally do but the vocal grabbed me when I heard it.
Feedback appreciated on absolutely any aspect of the production
Massive shouts to all the dotbe heads and to anyone that can take the time to listen n comment
Peace
The Havoc

I like the intro a lot. When I listened to it I couldnt expect what will i hear later. The drum patterns are fine but I dont like the snare. You have to be layered with a harsher sample I think. The vocal fits well with the tune. I think the tempo could be a little bit higher, but maybe i listened too speedy tracks before this

NICE! Really feeling this one I like the combination outa hip hop and dnb (ooh..I need to try this too).
Beats and basses are tight, kickass production as always. Melodies are quite catchy as well.
I think your vocal (in the main part) could be a tad louder, in hip hop the vocal is often slightly louder then the instrumental.
Maybe this would be out of tune but you could try to add some of your genius drum reversing …
Cool stuff, keep at it!

I love it. Of course, I'm a sucker for any track that has a good MC (sampled or recorded live) over it. Nice and easy (maybe a bit too easy), but then again, I listen to far too much over-the-top aggressive stuff.
Cheers and swell job mate.

Hey,
I really like the fusion of styles in this tune. You have enough of a hook to keep it interesting but it doesn't overwhelm the vocals. Bass is sweet.
Intro is solid but I don't like the initial filtering of the vocals. The filter sounds a little resonant, and the vocals are louder in the build than when the flow rolls in after the drop.
I'm really digging the breakdown at 2:56. However, the arpeggio- gated synth seems to stop abruptly, it might sound better if that line was continued and faded out or if delay was added. I love when the vocals and the hat come in... good stuff.
The bass slide up at 3:30 is class, but I reckon it could be a bit louder.
Nice, crisp sounds throughout the mix. I would for sure dance to this track

Yep, Minas summed up my thoughts on this too.
The rapping isn't too bad, some of the lyrics are a bit weak tho. I'm into hip hop artists like KRS1, Public Enemy, Dead Prez who have a solid message behind their styles. I do like the combination of dnb and hip hop tho. I recently did a remix of "Fucked" by KRS1. Can't post it on here because it has copyrighted material, but maybe I could send you a copy.
The beats could be fatter and bigger I reckon. They are too quiet atm.
Melodies are nice and compliment the rapping nicely.
Overall, a nice tune mate.
