I was going to try remixing Dark Magnet by M-Beat, but I had serious trouble finding the Mary Poppins sample. However, I do have the Chuka Demus track (spirit), where the other vocal originated from, so I have done a very quick remix of that instead.
The break is actually from the M-Beat version. I had to rebuild the break due to unwanted sounds in the original. Then I just mashed the break up. All the other sounds are made in reason 3 apart from a couple of other samples.
This mix is pretty rough. It sounds more like a jam session really
nice breaks there, good effort man, but you should make them louder. bass works well with them too. the vocal is sweet aswell
yeah, i like that tune, finish it up
This deffo sounds like a lot of fun. Very mid-to-late-90s dnb.
Lots of old skool junglist vibes, especially with the ragga vocals and the break. There's a good amount of sub here too, which is good to hear from you. Even the kick is right on this track!
I agree with rez that you should think about making the breaks a little louder. They are proper sweet.
The only thing that doesn't quite work for me is some of the background fx. They sound a bit noisy to me, especially the echo-laden fx. Everything else tho, I feelin mate. I like this one a lot.

I did something with this track that I normally don't really do. Yes, I eq'ed the sounds! It took a bit of doing, but thanks to some usefull threads on this site, it seems to of helped.
I would like to appologise to all the people that reviewed my last track, that I said, I would return a review. My landlord has cut the house internet connection really badly.
Which means that streaming songs is barely possible. It is pretty hard reviewing a track, when you hear the first 3 seconds, then a 10 second silence followed by another 3 seconds
My household is trying to sort this out...
the alien's have landed kind a synth or what u used ...kind a weird for my taste... the regga vocals...5+...a bit on the rough side...as u mentioned...guess u get the picture

That synth sound you are on about is from the original track I was gonna attempt remixing. If it wern't for the bloody Mary Poppins sample, I would of done the remix. So much for mary poppins appearing when you need her...

haha cool ragga vibe goin on, those fx r cool, i reckon u could do with a couple more in there..
that rise fx is slightly over-used tho imo
likin the bass, could be beefed up a tad i think, maybe layered with a synth to fill up the low-mid to mid frequencies?

oh another suggestion, that vocal u could cut up in places and put sum delay effects to emphasise certain words like "jus like a man man man man"if u catch my drift (and if tahts what he's sayin lol)
old school feel to this, breaks are nice, nice l ittle edits here and there. sub bass is pretty deep and warm, nice old-school vocal sample too. i think the fx are over-used, get annoying and repititve after a while, kick is pretty big.
arangment could be a little more exciting and the structure is a bit basic, no real breakdowns or drops, nice track, jus gets a little repititive after a while and could be arranged into a more tune-like structure.
good work tho.

2nd all the comments that went before, this track would definately benefit from turning it up! yeh that alien sample is a bit repetitive but it works well imo.
