Wow, another old skool tune. This site is becoming littered with them... nice! Big Grin Rhodes, deep sub, amen breaks, lots of delay, dirty bass stabs - all the essential ingredients for the old skool vibes.

The mix sounds pretty good to me but some of the deep, bass stabs are muddying the sound a little. You can just hear the sound starting to squash. Not by much tho, and if you turned down the main volume a tad it'd probably remedy the problem really quick.

Although the tune is nice, it doesn't hugely inspire me. It needs something extra to make it distinct and memorable. It sounds like many tunes I've already heard.

Love the amen breaks btw. You've edited them nicely.

Cool stuff.

Cool tune,I would tone down the hi's (on the amen) just a bit and give the amen a boost around 150-170 hz.
would also give a lil more attack on the bassline.

intro is nice and chilled, maybe more reverb on the echo fx to really push it back into background. break that comes in is too strong in the mid to high range, kinda makes an annoying ring to the whole thing, lacks a nice big kick too. defo got an old-school vibe to it this one tho. the bassline could maybe use beefing up a bit, a boost round the 80hz mark would warm it up, and some nice compression wouldnt hurt either.
not badd tho, nice vibe throughout.

old skool cool. i think there is a revival gwarnin! good stuff this tho, takes me back to when i was a chav! yeeeh.

have to agree with the other comments, that bass is a little too overcooked, can hear it slightly murking this end too. maybe seperate that bass up and only distort the highs, makes it sound distorted without the bad distortion going on.

drums, cool edits on the amens, not too sure sbout the congos when the rest stops, could do with a little reverb or somink on it, that or a slightly more tricky rythem.

anyways, good stuff this tho

peace
