eazy Seph, a distinct lack of reviews on this one?!
haha nice lil 1/32 breaks in the intro
wicked intro, feelin this one fo sho! cool reece, cool melodies, bad bouys in the house
nice little drum edits as well - good work
sumthin seem,s to be missing, some fx in the background me reckons may help some of the sections to flow better (don't get me wrong - u already got sum in there, i jus would like to see more
)
nice ethnic vocal, quite mysterious feel to that.. fits very feel with the vibe
mate, i can't really find too much to complain about, yeah some eq and master touches will be good, but i can't spot any major mistakes on that end
all works really nice, wanna hear the finished article!! oh the beat flows really well too
Hey seph, yep distinct lack of reviews here. Dunno why cos this is very nice. Deffo feeling the dark, heavy vibes!
Those basslines are sounding pro. There's maybe too much stereo panning on them tho. Beats are solid enough. But I'd turn them up a notch tho because they are a little too far back in the mix right now. Also, the snare sounds dry on some ocassions. I'm loving the little beat edits tho, some nice little details there. Keeps it interesting.
Super melodies. No complaints there. The breakdown in the middle could do with something extra. Not sure what tho, but it just sounds a bit empty to me. There could be more drama there.
Beats kinda lose power towards the second-half of the tune. I'd layer some rides on top of them and perhaps a loop with some high pass.
Love that deep sub you've got. Reminds me of Optical. You could even turn that up I reckon.
Nice array of samples too. Overall, a wicked tune mate. Easily deserves more reviews.

easy now, sos boss, was a bit busy over the weekend - so sorry bout the lateness! (i was always crap with excuses.,,)
anyways, oooh straight away, lovely samplesm really love the good use of panning. captures u straight away, what ive heard of u definately fits ur avatar! have to agree withthe comments so far, would love to see slightly more impact when the tune drops, like some swooshing sounds going down in pitch or maybe a big crash or somink u know? anyways the atmos that is here is real sweet, good work on that one.
yeh the drums could be a bit bigger, mind u i usually overdo it on my main hits, but i would like to have them a little more in ur face. i slightly more in ur face drop would be sweet for this one too, u know where it chills for a sec with that awesome string and vocal sample and them bammm! i wouldnt complain if that bass was slightly more powerful too - maybe with another layer on it or somink.
anyways, having said all of that this is top quality shizzle. liking ur style boss. btw where did u get those samples and what daw do u use?
peace

all the samples are from 300, jus ripped a load of audio from the dvd and sorted through it cutting bits out, vocals and strings/ voice are from 300.
daw is fl studio and sound forge 9 (fl jus aint accurate enough sometimes), and a shit load of plug-ins.....waves, zeta, ravity, kjaerhaus series, blue. hoping to get a little pro tools le rig running on a seperate laptop soon but money is tight since ive jus moved house and have no job at mo.
oh? u can have two daws running on two different pcs and then rewire em? shit - that sounds good - got any more info on that one? (Ican afford loads of cheap pcs but not one good one
)
yeh 300 - thats got sooo many good samples in it. have u seen this remix;
Its a great track! I like the sub and the reece a lot! The snare should be a bit richer but the kick is ok i think. Samples from 300 are bitching. The bests are the vocals and that sound at e.g. 1:31. (is it a sword?). I like the way you are integrated these samples.

dunno bout 2 different pc's re-wired, may be possible tho. i jus meant a seperate pro tools le rig from my carillon set-up with fl and sound forge, jus wanna learn more pro tools and get fluent in it then i could mix/ master tracks in pro tools rather than fl, jus for a more professional, organised approach to mixing.
