Some breaks do sound really familiar Wink
But hey, great switching between them, nice fucked up beats. I like the 'samplehold' effect on the snare in the first part (always did)

By the way: where can I find more breakbeats (you know, the typical ones like the ones ya use in this track...). For instance: I'm looking for this typical 'what's-it-called' - beat, I think it's a 'firefight' or something (don't laugh if this is wrong!). It's the one ya use most in this track. I know there's one in the samplepack, but it's a bit fucked up (distorted,...), I'm looking for the basic one, clean and straight-forward (not cut-up and shit)

(Ow yeah, and this one is for Surya: forget what I said before about reeces and (tr)amens, and about DnB that had to be hard and dark and shite: I was in a really bad mood that day, so never mind the crap I said Big Grin )

Nice atmospherics

Good breaks in the intro. Good use of the apache and stuff.
And nice wasps.

Good drop. Nice switching between different themes, good sounds.
Like that sound with all the reverb on it a lot. How did you make it? Sounds a bit like some kind of stretched scratch sound or something like that. Really phat!
Basslines are nice, but miss some sub here and there.

What I miss most is some really clear sounding hi-end on the breaks. Bring in some nice crisp rides n stuff.

Good track, but maybe a bit messy structurewise.

@ Type: no prob mate Big Grin
The firefight in the pack is indeed a bit distored, but not in a way that it hurts the sound. With some filters and EQing you can make it sound really phat! The firefight in this track sounds VERY much like the one in the pack, wouldn't be surprised if it was thatone!

actually, the firefights i used in this tune are from the samplepack---the one that's more distorted (the merciless break) i ran thru an eq....all the other breaks (like the ones in the intro/outtro) are from the 160db-260db refills for reason, just chopped and edited and layered (sometimes using 3 or more different breaks at the same time)....peace
