Please check out my new track 'No Name Yet (100% 8-bit Dnb!)' and post your comments here!
So, I went entirely 8-bit on this. I don't think this has been done before. The entire track at least. It still needs lots of work. The arp at the end isn't the ending of the song.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Love it!!
That's a really cool, fun tune. Yep, deffo never heard anything like this before. I can imagine the video for this - pixels of lego-like men and women busting out funky dances moves...
The melodies are very nice and got me hooked from the very start. Beats are nice too. And the structure works well too. In fact, everything is pretty much spot on for me. This is genius mate!

Nice experiment. I was raised with a C64 so I really can appreciate this sound. It's much more demanding for a producer to create a good tune from such sounds. You did well, but I expect you to throw in some dramatic leads and pads in the part you are going to create. Deffo needs to be finished.

nice idea and well pulled off, real hard to make 8-bit sounds come together and make a drum 'n bass but you did a good job. fair play.
the arp sound is real nice, structure is good, arrangment is sound.
bass is pretty good considering its 8-bit, nice job there.
top marks for originality, good work indeed!
Well its not 100% 8-bit (for example take that wah pad). This kinda stuff was been done many times ,many years ago back on amiga/c64. I would say it's a decent chiptune ,maybe a little too short in timeplay, but enjoyable. It needs definatelly some lead / solo thing and 2nd motive/part.
Not much to say about mixing and overall sound - its ok.
to start with - what a cool idea! yeah i grew up on video games, so loved or should i say was brought up with these kinda sounds
man that intro sounds like Legend of Zelda!!!! Link 1 and 2 on my NES - memories already comin back - well done!
mate i've noticed musically all ur tunes have got some really catchy melodies, really good stuff!
top marks for originality, and bringin back sum memories to this old fella right here (not sure how a raver would react to this tho! lol prob still dance, thats what everyone does after takin a few magic beans eh! lol)
Pure class! raving c64 stylee!! loving this style boss, i was gonna do somink like this meself (going travelling in september so all i will have to make music on is me nintendo ds!) yeh, the melody is cool, the build up is sweet, the main bass is cool and the edits on the drums are sweet too! how did you make this tune anyways? u make it on a good daw or did u make it on a gambeoy or somink?
i would prefer a better bass drum on this but if u r making this on a handheld gaming console i will let u off! anyways thats the only gripe i have with this.
anyways, would love to hear a finished version of this tune, it would definately be a tune i would keep on my mp3 player!
