I've had a few beers and a snifter so i maybe slightly accoustically over indulging my hearing senses in this review, but, absolutely loving the breakdown and thereafter, the butterfly analogy being spot on! Wicked tune man, fresh new wave DnB.
ooooooh?!?! the BD puts a tune up! nice dark sounds on this, sounds very old skool (o yeh sample and drumage) with a new twist, i could see some top names playing this one out. early morning bass head bopper.
anyways, is it just me or is the bass on the breakdown, round the 2:00 mark sounds like its panned too much on the right? not a massive fan of the boingy mid bass sound but thats just my taste, love the other bass noises.
great atmos tho, cool edits, sounds very dnb like when its dun proper.
peace

revel in the crapness of the website and then hit the add button... go on, do it, u know u wanna
yeah like the actual drum samples u've used in this, definately old skool. pads are nice and atmospheric.
mad bass in the first part, i can actually picture a caterpillar tryin to burst outta its larvae (?? can't remember what they come outta now! doh!)
nice synthage goin on from around 2:00 onwards, I suppose this is the bit where it turns into a butterfly? if it is thats some good representation / visualisation! kinda gets less dark and more ambient from there onwards.
drums, samples, synths, reese all sound sweet imo - very nice work! wicked drum edits spice things up here n there
i small suggestion would be maybe a few more fx on the 3rd part of the tune?
not much to complain about from me mate, really likin this and the production quality is ace
well done

wicked tune mate , best from u so far , soundz like V RECORDINGs , very nice indeed mate !!!!!!!
my only criticism is that on the 1:00 drop , i think the drop needs a bit more of a gap , just a bit too sudden 4 me , but overall love it , peace !!!!!!!
Dark Sounding,Drums Sound Goods But I Think in a way u need to get more shuffles and pattern switches in the atcually drum loops. has a good feel to it though get more samples in there to give it that dirty feel. the Sounding of it is great though i think u shld eq the stereo output to give it that more push by adding a parmetric EQ around 60hz-70hz add around 0.7dB and that shld give it that serious push. mainly you wont hear it but ur be able to feel it on a top notch sound system. i think maybee not sure though u could atcually give it more of drop into from the bridge into the atcually main parts if u get me lol...but apart from that its sound pretty gd. Good Work Mate.. hope my tip is useful. and also add more compression, as a sound engineer i can hear that drums are compressed but not at a hard ratio they should be id say setting the ratio to around 3:3 on a good compressor or a sonnox or waves plugin. pricey but fuckin worth.. neways nice beat....
liked the drums right form the beginning. nice pad and drum fill at 23secs or so. i like the digital blurp fill at very like the bass. i think the pad can come down in volume a little bit. Really great jungle feel to the whole track.
love the riff at 2mins. bad ass brotha! got me very excited and when the durms come back in wow. feeling that! again i think the volume on the riff can come down along witht the pad.
a nice female vocal sample would sound bad ass over the 2nd drop and really bring this track to another level.
nice intro, like the pads, some nice drum work too with the fills, keeps things fresh,
the drop at around 1:00 is nice, bassline is nice and warm, some nice edits too.
mix sounds nice and clean, everthing is well defined. not too keen on the synth at 2:00, takes away some of the dark edge of the track for me,
kick could maybe be a little more pumpin, doesn't sound big enough for me,
nice track tho,
good work indeed!
Nice rhythm...dont like that high pitched synth that comes later on ...was expecting sth more subtle..too phased and loud imo ?? sry man not diggin the synth.
oh and that bell sound get a bit too loud and high sometimes imo...
Thats veteran battledrone. We met the other day "Clipz hazrd style samples required", Although very very new to fl studio i mix and dj on my decks at home only, but what im trying to say is i have an ear for good dnb, probaly why i struggle so much nothing is good enough for me! Anyway mate that tune is vet. those beast in 6, 4? Played it through my rokits brilliant mate pumps and rolls! Liking the melody fits perfect with the bass drum and snare selection, nice bass to couldnt tell your a soundengineer!! Nice beat variations.
