couldn't find another mp4 hosting site, cause I recorded this with my phone.
while working on a tune I noticed a "tail" of a synth coming after a note and it shouldnt. fucked with adsr envelope to no avail. then I zoomed in teh sequencer to notice that it looks behind when unzoomed but when you zoom in it is overlapping...
from the video you can clearly see that the lower sound is overlapping the higher one
bloody hell, well what the hell is that all about! does that mean u have to be constantly zoomed in or zoomed out!? i havent jumped to reason 4, still on three, but from what ive heard of the sequencer im not jumping for a while. ghost mentioned that cos there is no line tool reason 3 song files would open up weird on version 4. i zoom and use the line tool all the time. u should definately bitch at the makers about that one.

revel in the crapness of the website and then hit the add button... go on, do it, u know u wanna
can you see the vid? it is proper when you zoom in but it would be ridiculous to work having it zoomed in all the time. I use the zoom all the time and its really annoying..

damn, my Reason 4 upgrade is still sitting at home waiting to be updated....maybe i should just stick to version2 from what im hearing!!!
HaHa...
I had bloody hell Ketz.
I had v3 but never used it much.
I only really started using Reason when I got v4.
And I'm still using it !!!
Maybe there are some little annoyances but think of the other things that aren't in the previous versions !!!

Get yourself a copy of cubase or live etc then re-wire and use reason as a big vst so you dont have to use reasons new sequencer
its the way forward
Although i think once used to it the new sequencer isn't too bad
Exactly !!! - HaHa.
I have Live 7 as well as Reason 4 but I don't like using ReWire.
yeah i rewire Reason and Cubase, but i still do most my work on the sequencer - ah well i'm sure i'll survive - i know i need R4 cuz theres so much on there (remember i've never used 3 before so im gna be adding a whole load more instruments lol)
nah peeps, don't get me wrong - everyone using reason should update to ver4. after all its just a visual bug, and Im unsure that the previous versions didnt have it. I had trouble with reasons update to version 3.04 where certain settings on scream4 would sound completely different when rendered.. that was serious crap since it generated blocks of square wavs
still its an annoyance, silly one in fact which proves the sequencer reason offers still isnt up to the level of cubase logic etc etc
rewire is cool and I use it through ableton but this time since I reinstalled windows I still havent installed anything but reason on it...

yeah rewire is wicked man, for me personally when I first started out found it really handy to use Cubase rewired purely as a sampler, really easy to just record stuff directly on with Reason playin alongside it (eg vocals, instruments, midi in sync with the tune). Also found it useful for timestreching and chopping up wavs and using vst plug-ins (that you can't use in reason) for adding extra dimensions to samples taht u felt restricted by in reason
