The producers page has been completely recoded from scratch. It still works more or less the same as before, but the look has been updated to match the other 'new' pages such as the samples and vote pages.
- The biggest change is in the way producer applications are handled. New producers don't have to apply for producer rights anymore and then wait for hours or even days before being approved. The new producers page explains that 5 detailed reviews are required, keeps track of how many still need to be written and can unlock the mp3 uploads so the new producer can start uploading straight away.
- The table has been revised, it now also shows when the producers were last active and it can be sorted by clicking on the headers. You can click on the tracks to get a list of all music by that producer.
- The code of the page now also integrates much better with the rest of the site, this will make future changes much easier to make.
- It is now impossible to upload more than one track per day.
- All information about uploading etc has been rewritten, there was a lot of outdated info in there.

Fixed a bug that prevented producers to show up in the 'Welcome to our new producers' box after using the new automated application script.
All new producers should appear in that box from now on.

Fixed a bug that prevented vinyl discs to show up under the username in forum posts for new producers that used the automated producer application script.
From now on the vinyl discs will show up for new producers.
Producers that do not have vinyl discs under their name and would like to have them can do this by changing their user rank in the profile.

Fixed a bug in the upload script that caused the mp3 detection to fail under some circumstances. Because of this the bad file could be passed to the LAME encoder, which would fail and the script aborted with the rather unhelpful error message 'Error: The track could not be converted to low bitrate!'.
When somebody now uploads a non-mp3 file (eg a WMA file) he will get the correct error message (eg 'Error: The file is not recognised as an MP3 file. It seems like you uploaded a 'Windows Media Audio 9.1' file!').
