Under normal circumstances a combination of metal and dnb would = for me ... but I'm not feeling this I'm afraid. There's some great speed riffing madness but there's just too many tempo changes, it goes from being way too fast to being too slow and the structure... well, there doesn't appear to be any.
I know a tune like this could be wicked, but it needs to resemble the structure and feel of a metal tune a bit more, with more build-ups, rock-outs, and more tension. At the mo, this sounds very haphazard to me.
Another thing which I'm not too keen on is the amount of stereo panning you've used. The whole thing is widely panned which I'm guessing means you applied the panning on the master/global channel? If so, I'd deffo think about just applying it to 2 or 3 seperate elements, rather the whole thing - maybe some of synth sounds.
The best part of this tune for me is from 0.38 to 1.50. After that, it kinda loses it's way and the intensity drops.
Like I said, this could be super cool, but it's a little too chaotic right now - even for a Slayer fan like myself.

whoooaaa - that bit when the beat kiks in! fuk speed! definately 0.38 to 1.50 - roking shit! agree with the tomos that there is a few too many tempo changes in there, but the way u change between em is fukin awesome - mad production skillz. yeh, its a bit chaotic, will have to agree - im one of those stupid ravers who need a constant beat tho, will suit the gabba crowd i rekon. the drums - i love the edits, u must spent fukin ages sorting them out huh? if ur going for a metaly style tho i would like to see more 1/32 drum rolls with all the toms and velocity changes in there. theres a couple of screaming synths that sound a bit odd 4.06 - for example, sound a bit midi like, could do with more effects on them.
panning yeh - a bit too wide, a good thing to do with metal is to look at a metallica gig and see where the players stand on the stage and pan like how they are standing. dunno if it would suit dance tho.
anyways, the thought that went into this awesome, some absolute mental bits and a couple of odd ones.
peace

revel in the crapness of the website and then hit the add button... go on, do it, u know u wanna
@tomos, youre right, its a metal tune with dnb influences so it doesnt conform in any of the two types of music structurewise.. which is what I was going for. tbh I wanted to get some comment on this since I lost my mind and was not sure where its going.
well i love Metallica and i love DnB so im sure im gna enjoy this....!!
woah!!! that beat is killer!!! freakin sh*t loads of energy mate! lovin that
yeah on the half speed stuff, its cool but i reckon its almost a bit sudden they way it is - would it be an idea to take the beat out completely for like 8 bars and then drop that half timing in - just for a bit more logical progression?
but i definately see what uv done here - its not a conventional DnB tune, the structure seems to be more metal - focused so im definately givin u top marks for originality!
technically seems like a lot of work has gone into this track - so many ideas, no repetition
my only critism would be that some of the synths that replace the guitar riffs sound a bit too synthy - could possibly do with a bit more distortion and messin around with
the intro is nice, lots goin on
I'm liking the drums, kinda Counterstrikey
There seems to be a lot of reverb wash off multiple instruments muddying up the low-mids, some EQ of the wet signal might help.
The half time bit is awesome, definitely in keeping with the Metal genre
I really like the uber fast arpeggiating synth, its driving away in the background n brings everything to life but like I say the reverb wash seems to be clouding it a little
Personally I'm not sure about the drop after the tempo changing part, it seems to roll in without much of an entrance, however the occasional sudden drop in tempo straight after a fast passage is awesome! It doesn't seem to be half time either, it keeps in the style of metal for sure
Towards the end I'm not so sure about the constantly changing tempo but I think thats probably just me personally
Overall I'm likin this track but I think a little re-EQ on some of the parts would help some of the instruments to really stand out
