Deffo still feelin this. In terms of EQing it sounds pretty similar to the previous version but I like the little extras you've added such as the much-improved hi hats, the filtered bassline during the intro (starts up at around 0.22. I'd deffo love to hear that loud), and the fills (loving those kick-fills at 2.45, 4.50, and 5.32 - very funky, and you've EQed the kick very sweety).
One thing I always love about your tunes is how you really think about the details and the little edits. The closer you listen to your tunes, the more interesting they get - that's the sign of a quality producer. This tune is no exception. The only minor criticism I have is that it gets slightly repetitive towards the end and you could probably cut out about 30 seconds off the tune if you squeezed it's bollocks a bit.
But hey, nice tune solider!

intro sound could be less phasy i think though i like the transition of them to a more consistent whole, like the baass is commin in
that bass is really working
but thing the beat is little overcompressed
it is to far away in the mix
can be more upfront
The arp sounds a bit too trance oreinted. The drop is nice and hard and I'm liking the lead. The drums sound nice and tight the kik cuts thru and the snare has good bottom end.The overall arangement is above average and stays focused.
The bassline does not cut thru as much as "I" think it should. That is about the only thing I can say negative about this track. This style of DnB is not my avorite but the tune keeps me interested.
I think if this track was givin a proper remix by the likes of Break or Calyx it would be a dancefloor killer.I has the elements a great track but something is missing.
I'm not a big fan of doing all my production on Reason, mabey thats the problem.
not much to say in terms of mistakes in the production. it sounds dnb, buildup and drop could be done in anothewr way, theres opportunities for some dark neuro bass licks before the drop, make it real deep and dark etc etc. it works this way, theres no doubt, Im into some mental shit atm so it could be the cause
main lead is a bit electro for my taste, Id do a hell lot more processing for this
in any way, its a tune, nice one in fact. if you really put so much effort maybe its time to start another one? I sometimes go so much into detail forgetting obvious mistakes (but its not the case here). simply let go, do a couple more tunes and you can go back to this always with a more critical approach to your own work
NOt bad intro. Thought it was going to break into Peepshow by Cause 4 Concern!!!
Right then. Drums sound good mate and the bass sounds great aswell.
To be fair production sounds great. I just don't like the tune. Sorry. Just not my style of D'n'B. I know this style is quite popular now day, but I'm getting old and am still into my 90's stuff... Sorry bro. I wont vote on it, because I think it is unfair to give the track a false result.
@ Shinyuri - I'm at work right now so can't listen to this version (will do that on Fri as I have the day off and vote)
But just to say from my personal opinion - even from the preview this has been one of my favourite tunes on this site for a while and I reckon it's waay under-rated
So rest assured that you have one fan here who has a special place in his heart for this tune!
(cheesy but true mate!)
the bass line and lead r totaly stompin! nice use of sounds and notation. the kick and snare r banging and cut through the mix very well. the build ups awsome and the track prgresses well althought i felt the bass could have changed slightly in sound or notation for the second drop just to mix it up a bit.
overall tho this is an awsome track mate, keep it up.
I didn't like the arp at the beginning straight away, but as it filtered a bit, it started to sound really nice. It sounded kind of like Amon Tobin, on tracks like "Triple Science." Anyway, The buildup and drop are really good. Like some other members said as well, this isn't really my style. It's funny. I like the jazzy, light stuff, and the really hard, dark stuff, but not in the middle, like this. But I'll try to put together some ideas that will help or motivate. I think the lead synth is a little weak. It could use some distortion, and maybe just some more punch! The structure of this song, however, is excellent. Everything fits in perfectly. Your little synths and effects here and there are nicely done. They keep the song from straying into boredom. Way to keep us on our toes. Good luck with future versions.
