i would like to know which is the best low pass filter to use in reason. I'm using reason 3 so its sort of limited to that but, nevertheless, which would be the best for a grizzly bassline.

aint there only one filter module in reason 3? use that!!!
agree with the sentinal about combinig (use a 14:2 mixer tho :p), effects, distortion, unison, filter. dont forget to layer up with a sub bass as distortion usually takes away from the sub moving stuff.

weird question, all modules (subtractor, d:rex, nn19, nn-xt,...), not to mention the eq's, have different low pass filters and freq/cut-off sliders, so.... if those aren't enough, i really don't know a valuable answer..
