This is a mix done by a friend back in 99. Great selection of dark D'n'B from around 99 and a few earlier tracks.
This person used to go raving with us quite often back then and used to lug around about a hundred track with him, begging to get a set or two on rigs on the London squat party scene.
He used to get quite a few offer from pirate stations back then, but as far as I know, never took up the offers due to the risk of being busted and losing his tunes.
He did however used to play quite often along side Ruud Awakenings (Off shoot of Rude FM) dj's and Mc's on a certain notorious rig. He quite often had MC's Ecksman, Herbsey and Blacka spitting over his sets. Sometimes, these sets were actually going out live from the parties on pirate Rude Awakening 104.3 fm across London.
He used to go under the name of Darkizm

Nice 1. Hope you enjoy it. just got another dodgy stereo from the salvation army, so got a few tapes to rip.
The other tape is more experimental. He used to tape odd sets and listen to them to get a better idea on other mixes. Bit like a demo mix. I will rip it soon.
Was gonna upload one of my mixes I did about 3 years ago, but just fucked the tape up
Might see what I can salvage. It's more a 94 selection done with two ordinary decks, one deck had about 3% adjustment, the other only played at 33
It was done last minute before I was flying out of the country. worth a laugh, if I can sort the tape out.

lol hey man I like ur tunes - stop dissing them! but u need to get urself a proper PC with a lot of memory and good processing speed, I remember how frustrating working on a laptop was when I first started out - and that was just FL1 on its own!!
now u got me thinkin, I got some of my old mixes from early 2000s with tunes from 99 - 02 I might as well upload a couple of my sets (even though I cocked some of them up) - I miss DJing - don't get much of an opportunity nowadays (as I focus my time out of work on producing) plus one of my needles is f**ked!
