While I was out yesterday I saw a poster for Kulturama in Leuven, and I see that Grooverider is playing at Silo on Feb 14th. Apparently tickets are 6 euros. Theres more info at www.kulturama.be

Thats mad cheap, Ive never seen a show for that cheap. I saw Mampi Swift and Twisted Individual in Chicago for 10 dollars, but this is cheaper than that even.

IT COULDN'T get even better !! Drum'n bass weekend to look forward to ! all you have to do : search an old chillin car to tour crazy belgium , 2 people with a driver's licence ( in case one can't drive afterwards) and party as hell !! BASS XL + GROOVERIDER = Wicked combination, count me in DUDEZ

Anyone else go? Grooverider was pretty decent, my only (small) complaint is that he is so popular and always has so many new dubs that I could hardly recognize anything he played (apart from older tracks like Bring It On, and his VIP of Nosher) which makes it a little less fun. I was also impressed with the DJ who was on before him, whoever that was. 
)
My only complaint about the rest of the night were the dumb motherfuckers who wanted to bring huge backpacks and stand in the middle of the fucking dance floor with them. Arrrrr that pisses me off, nothing like trying to dance and tripping over the backpack of some retard who is there to stand in the middle of the dance floor and talk to his friends...

pretty much the same comments here...
I liked Wontime's (@Ripon that's him allright) alot, maybe even more than Grooverider's set. The last one played indeed lotsa dubs i never heard of, ok he played nice tunes, but not much tunes that were really standing out. Too much needless rewinds also, and after a while i got pretty bored of hearing the same break over and over again..
There was an mc but he didn't let hear much of him so i can't tell what he was like..
Anyway it was an ok night, but in 2 weeks there's Rumble, that might turn into a mmmasssive night

I agree, at first it was funny, cause he was going all out into the mic, but you couldnt hear a word he was saying. Then they got it sorted and you could pick out a few words, but nothing major.

Could have done that, didnt have much room to dance anyway though, I think he got the message when someone kicked his bag across the floor. Plus some dipshit in front of us was doing enough uitschieten for all of us, he kept elbowing my girlfriend. Pretty sure he was fucked up and didnt know what he was doing, but it was hella irritating...

Wont be there. My girlfriend got us tickets for Xmas/Valentines Day to go to Milton Keynes, England for Accelerated Culture. Will be seeing Andy C, Mampi Swift, Friction, Ed Rush, Bailey, Hazard, Clipz, Distorted Minds, Nicky Blackmarket, Wickerman, and a few other DJs
