Please check out my new track 'AXIOM 2' and post your comments here!!!

Follow up to Axiom.

This is just a clip of the track ie. the main part, NO INTRO Mad Wink . The track has changed drastically and now has a more neuro funk feel. Imagine early Twisted Individual tracks like Nail Bomb vs Ed Rush & Opticals Wormhole album Smile Well maybe not quite that good, Big Grin but a similar feel...

The track was done exclusively with Reason 3.

Sorry I havn't done the reviews I said I would do for the last peeps commenting on my last mix. Been very busy work wise, but the reviews will be done shortly. Your comments are really appreciated. Smile

Hope You enjoy.

Please leave feedback and vote.

It's not that bad is it??? Confused Frown

Ok, admitedly it has no jazz section, no lyrics, isn't a liquid track, not a clownstep track (which I would never produce fullstop! Mad ), but it is a 4am roller!!!! This is where my passion for Drum 'n Bass comes from.

I still love the 90 shizzle. That is true spirit d'n'b for me. I must be getting old Big Grin

Nah, it's probably just cos the peeps have heard quite a few versions of this tune now.

This is certainly different from the previous versions and this is probably the best. The beats are definitely sounding better although the snare is still a little thin for my liking. The extra bassline is the right idea. I'd layer it with a sub tho. There doesn't seem to be much sub frequencies in this tune, most of it is in the mid range. Generally tho, it is defintely an improvement. Good work.

mm yeah maybe u posted this too soon ...tomos is probably right...

so I listened to it and the older version ... really hard to tel the difference...this ones is a bit better than the other (so I imagine your going to use a similar intro as your earlier version?)...tho I still find it lacking something imo...and extra synth maybe...but I like synths so thats just me...

the snare tends to get lost in there sometimes...maybe add a few hits at some ends?

would like to listen to the finished thing tho

Oh and thanks for the review, appreciate it!

cheers

The track is too repetitive,
and drums havent got any power
just give the kick some more rom too breath by equalizing down your bass @ 80 herz

there is a feelin there for sure dude, i have not heard the other mixs but im feeling your 4am vibe, there seems to be some bass snarls happening in there that sound out of place, it does get a little repetitive but to me, with some varieties in the melody/structure youve got something to work with only listening on laptop atm so cant comment on the mix will have to have a listen when i find my 3.5mm to 1/4 inch leads.
