Can anyone tell me how to process the signal from my m-audio keyrig 49 usb synth through the Emu to my Korg Ea1 mk2 please !?

What program(s) & or what do I need to be able to configure the midi audio inputs and outputs ?

Thanx !!! Big Grin

the most simple solution is if your keyrig also has a midi out next to the usb thing, then you can connect it directly.

In the other case: connect your usb keyboard to your computer, the korg to the midi interface, and that one to another usb port. Also you will need to connect the line out of the korg to a line in of your computer if you want to be able to hear and record what you are doing.

Also make sure the correct drivers for your keyboard and midi interface are installed on your pc.

From then on, you can probably use any audio sequencer program of your liking.
set up your software something like this:
- ad one audio channel, and choose the line in you connected the korg to as input
- add one midi channel, set you keyboard as input and the correct port of the midi interface as output. Note that you may need to change the midi channels here, both in your software and on your hardware. Put them on the same channel, or you won't get a thing. Refer to your software help/ hardware manual on how to set these.

I hope this helps you a bit...

Yeah thanx man ...

KeyRig sadly has no midi ins or outs just usb.
I wanted the axiom 61 but it cost more than I had ...
HeHe ...
Quite a wee bit more !

Ok so I tried routing in Ableton live 7 and it sort of works but I just want to know a program that I can use to route the EMU but not actually record as of yet.

Just a chainer or router if you like kind of like maples or rolands yoke virtual midi router.
Actually haha maybe I should try them ...

Bugger me !

I´m a wee bit slow !!

HeHe Bigup
