Please check out my new track 'Heaven to Hell' and post your comments here!!!

This is my latest track created considering all advice given to me on previeous tracks both on and off of this site. This track took me three days to create so im not expecting the world at the moment, however, any comments or pointers would be greatly appreciated no matter how small. personally im having trouble faulting it. enjoy

I love this, really good.
I think you should use a tool called mp3Gain to push the level of your file to a normal level, it is very silent now.
Good drums, good variation, good vibe! Maybe the melody in the intro and breakdown should be a tad more dark to make it all even better.

You've got to admire the confidence. Big Grin

Yeah, for the most part this is well put together and the different sections gel well. Like you last few tunes, you've got the main components to make a really decent tune - melodies, sounds, build-ups, etc - but again, the sound quality is really letting it down. It's is too distorted, imo, and there's a distinct lack of bottom-end heaviness, which is essential in a tune like this. I understand you use FL. What are you doing on the master channel and how are you exporting your tunes?

build-up is all good, everything seems a little quiet tho?
bass is decent, "wub" bass sounds nice.
drums are pretty good, maybe another layer of snare would give it a little more edge.
kick is pretty clear, could use a slight level tweak tho to make it a little louder.
are you using compression on master channel cuz everything sounds crushed too much, little muddy at times.
not a bad track tho, really dark maybe play with the envelope of the first bass sound and get rid of some of the attack, gets a little annoying to the ears after a while.
not bad work tho...
