Yeh but the cubase and live forums don't exactly get much input though.
And the related styles gets even less input.

I made a Protools forum and moved all threads about it in there. It's a lot, like.. a dozen or so
I also made a start of splitting up the Production forum, I made a first subforum about mastering, and moved all threads I found about the topic in there.
It's a lot of work going through all the threads and I probably missed several threads, what with undescriptive thread titles etc
if anyone comes across a thread that belongs in a different forum, please click the report button and let me know where it belongs

"How is LE limited?"
i dint word it very well ghost, just in terms of tracks and the basic package you get to begin with......clearly not in terms of what you can do cuz anyone who's used pro tools will know that its the dogs b****cks. and i know you can expand the track count etc with the add-on bundles but thats always put me off buying pro tools....forking out for a compatible sound card, add-on bundle, upgrades........plus a whole new set off plug-ins in a different format.....imo if i was going to upgrade my home studio to pro tools, it would only be for a full-on hd rig. pro tools le is defo a fantastic piece of music production software but to make the most of it, it costs....whereas something like cubase comes with everything you need 'in-the-box' so to speak. Pro tools has always seemed to be geared more towards the recording end of production and thats it real strength imo rather than sequencing and midi. i dunno its jus my opinion, like i said i would prob only go for pro tools at the very high-end i.e. hd3 with all the bells and whistles. i would be difficult aswell to part from my beloved vst's.....unless theres a 'wrapper' style piece of software for pro tools that supports vst-use? if theres not then there probably should be...
then again, its not what software you use but how you use it.....
