Makes a refreshing change to hear some liquid funk on here.
Very LTJ Buken-sounding, which is very nice.
There's too much panning with the rhodes and bass. I'm listening on headphones and it's really disorientating.
The melodies are excellent tho and you've made the right choice of sounds. The beats are solid but could be turned up a little (I know you said you haven't EQed or worked out the levels yet).
Good structure, edits and fills. I honestly can't think of many improvements to this.
The only thing I wasn't keen on was the computer-game synth that starts up at 2.38. It's a personal preference thing but I just don't think it fits and it takes away from the deep jazz feel.
But this is an excellent tune. I really enjoyed listening to this.

tips for improvement...
slow it down to like 174-176 bpm, as this one sounds more like 180+ bpm which is too fast sounding for this style imo.
does reallly need a bit more work on the mixdown.
lose the guitar sample or at least minimize its use on the drop. its just doesnt quite fit in there imo. probable needs more fx, reverb, delay (then use minimily, the delay will take care of filling it up).
also a couple of the samples seem the smaaallest bit out of time and was a bit off-putting on my ear, quantize those babies.
still, an enjoyable track that you should put the time in to finish.
sounds a little fast too my ears, kinda takes some of the vibe away from the chilled out feeling of this.
panning on the rhodes is too extreme, tone it down a little i reckon.
some real nice sounds and samples in this, wah-wah guitar is good, strings could maybe do with a few chords and a bit more decay + release to help the notes flow along a bit better.
vocal sample is lush, fits perfectly,
overall structure is spot on, guitar is maybe a little out of time aswell, but only a tad, not that noticable and doesn't detract away from the track too much.
drums are a little weak imo, but after some eq work they should stand out a little more.
phat tune overall, reminds me of high contrast, well put together, good choice of sounds, with some more work on the mixdown this could be a really, really good track.
structure is good. great samples love the jazzy vibe. i personally think the drums are pretty good. wouldnt advise much change. good commercial potential. just got to to finish it now and on to a solid track here.
Panning on the Rhodes is too extreme. The bass sounds too "preset"-like, I think a sub with less coloring going on would work better. Keep the sub mono. Good melodic work especially towards the end, everything fits. A tad nastyness would be nice too.

Yes the liquid style we like a lot (well I do anyways!) very reminiscent of LTJ bukem, reminds me of one of the tunes off his last DnB album before he took his 10 yr break from DnB (can't remember what it was called - colours or sumthin, was a yellow album cover).
musically beautiful. dont like the panning though man, leave that out
I really like this tune! sounds nice n clean to me. Any change I'd recommend would be to play around with the decay on that crash on the 1's. The strings are a bit boring but the nice chords and guitar make up for it. I don't notice the panning issue on my system but I usually like weird panning that makes you feel like the sound is going through your head on headphones. It might do nicely to put in a few harder bass sounds ("nastiness") to be used as variation, not too much. Love the vocal and even though I'm not a huge fan of the happy stuff I think this is a cool song. Quality
For a start i'd just like to say how refreshing it is to hear a different style on here, not too many funky, liquid type tunes around. Liked this one alot, shame there is only about 3 and a half minutes of it, look forward to hearing it finished. Is that guitar at the start a 'Roni Size' sample? Liked the drums thought they all interlink nicely and go well with the bass, which i also like. Nothing too much wrong with the levels although the bass seemed a little too loud( only a smidge). Thought the synth funk was a good idea myself, maybe try to work a bit more on that as i thought it was a good original kind of idea. All in all excellent, keep em coming.
I'd like to thank all of you guys for taking the time to listen to this. It really means a lot. I never have the time to preview any of your tracks. Summer vacation is coming soon for us youngins (I just turned 17), I'll have plenty of time to do some reviewing.
As for the Rhodes, I fixed the panning problem, it didn't sound as extreme on the monitors. The bassline is just something temporary. I have some ideas flowing for the bassline. I'm also going to change it up some. The crash can't really be fixed unfortunately, it's part of the intro break (that's why I prefer starting from scratch, hit by hit).
I removed the crappy keyboard solo and added a saxophone solo. I'll turn the bass down a notch. The guitar isn't from Roni Size. I slowed the tempo down to 175. It messed up one of the guitar samples (wah-wah). It sounds really droney now.
Thanks again for taking the time to listen. It means a lot. My town has no DnB scene. The only person that really hears it is, well, my mom.

EDIT:
I'M A HUUGEE FAN OF BUKEM. I love the oldschool stuff too.
Adam F - Circles = most amazing track ever.
