My sennheiser HD202's died recently so got some HD215 on recommendation and I'm not disapointed with them. Good low frequency response 12Hz - 20kz i think. Very decent for late night mastering

Defo have enjoyed the sennheiser hd280pros. They do however color the low end just a little bit. I'm eyeing the hd595's as my next upgrade. I'd love to step it up to the hd650s which are open-air beauties, but they're redic expensive @ 400usd. I should say my monitors suck and do nearly all my producing and mixing with my cans. I've just tried to learn the 280's coloring and compensate for it. Not the best practice but whatevs. Wink

Used to have AKG 271mk2' they are ok but lack in the low end. Just got a set of beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 250 ohm with a presonus HP4 headphone amp with monitor thru and they are wicked.
I highly Recommend these puppies!!!!

i was lucky enough to upgrade to DT770PROs just before Xmas..

Thing is Im not sure how accurate they are for monitoring.. they seem a little bass heavy to me.. Huh
Crazy freq response tho.. 5hz-30k!
Incredibly comfortable cans to wear tho! really recommend them on that front..

I need to listen the 770's more to be sure (need to find some data to check if there is any hyping going on) otherwise they'll be going on Ebay and I'll bag some DT150's.

The 770's are actually quite accurate with my Tannoy Reveal 501A active monitors. Dont really have to fix much in the mix after using the headphones...which is Great for me.
