don't think i should comment on this too much more, as its not my place to but... i have friends of many nationalities and respect all cultures, i think about the whole "forced" marriage thing can be misguiding / misprepresented in the media (as they tend to focus purely on the worse case scenarios eg 10 yr old gal forced to marry 70 yr old man etc etc) sometimes, as a lot of peeps aren't aware of the details of what is nowadays "common practice" and not all of them are horror stories as we like to beleive plus nowadays its not like it was say 50 years ago (eg parents introduce their sons / daughters to each other and then they decide if they like each other etc and then get married with both parties consenting, hell i even know some peeps who like that method - they think of it as like a dating service! lol
), its just the way it is and thats not to say that really bad stuff doesn't happen (as there are some twisted old fashioned fuckers in this world who need to be shot) so yeah think i'll just shut up before opening up pandoras box lol
