I really love that sound like loudy has allmost every his song http://www.myspace.com/djloudy PHARMACY IN MY MIND for example...
anybody knows how to make it? ben sage has used it in his tunes too....beautiful thing it is Big Grin

just look through any synth you have and check the presets. pretty much all of them have a sine wave setting
(basically, flat sub bass).

it looks like a smooth wavelength with rounded edges.

the easiest of all basses to make.

Ok so it sounds like a pretty basic reese passed through a filter (sounds like Low pass) with some automation of the cutoff frequency

Check out this thread for tutorial on introducing some wobble to your synths

Wobble Bass Tutorial 4 Reason +ableton

and there are a million "how to make a reese bass" tutorials out there

it's a sine wav with eq and compression and a glide mononote.

single sine, all top end filtered out just to reduce noise, and then compress really tight, squashed. and then glide and play differnet notes. that's what's going on in the pharmecy in my mind song at least. and it's funny i wa slike "wah woah, and heard the bass, and i was liek oh ya that's a wah woah. the wah and woahs come from the sliding between notes.

yea the best part about getting that done well, is once you get ti oyu can use it in soft mixes, without anything else, and it's just silk, or you can layer on another synth just distorte dto fuck and eidt out all fo the other synths bottem end, play them togethe and it makes it a "dirty bass" the top synth you might want to amke it a reece sound as any other thread will tell yuo how to detune and distort 2 saw waves.

Combine 2 or more 2 osc instruments together ? - [layers]
Detune the 2nd osc of each instrument - [cents]
Makes a Reese I believe.
