In song mode in the pattern playlist, how can you set your pattern up, so it shows like a waves file(music,graphic style)?

you have to use the windows below the pattern, the one where you can load automations and audio files. either that or use edison

Depends on the version in 8 the waves and pattern clips window is on top (big mistake imo, I hate this way of working).

ah my bad, you have to load an audio sample to see the waves, if you just load a sample in a kick, snare, hat,.. of fruity loops it doesnt show the waves, only as an audio clip.

You can invert it to be like it was before 
(hint: in the playlist menu)

you can still see the sample on the channel settings as a wave form, just not enough wave form editing options in fl for my liking, hopefully edison will sort that issue out in fl 8 but id still prefer sound forge running seperately i reckon.
