Used two basses, rhodes piano, conqueror synth, conquest syndth, custom pad, echoes, and distant synth And some vocals I had lying around FL... Tell me what you think...did I screw up or made something worth while This track has been deleted on the producer's request __ walcor on last.fm walcor on SoundCloud 26-04-2008 16:57 DRS Cool Producer Registration Date: 12-06-2007 Posts: 120 Helpfulness rating:  the break sounds thin and uninspired. you need to eq your drums better and process them. bost your kicks round 100 and your snares around 180. plugins like the oxford inflator and the sonic maximus are good for thickening up you beats. some more percussion on the break would be good to drive it more. layer it up with other breaksthat compliment it and eq. melodies arnt really my thing. nice vocals. synths sound a bit like presets, need a bit more depth. potentially a nice bass coming in around 140. needs more warmth, camelphat is a good plugin for this. elements of a good track floating around but a rework is needed fo it to come out. 27-04-2008 04:30 Tomos Infidel Registration Date: 15-04-2007 Posts: 2,276 Helpfulness rating:  I really like the deep melodic vibes in this but, imo, those vocals just don't fit. They sound off-key. Of course, anyone with FL will recognise where they came from, which is not good. I'd agree with DRS that the 1.40 bass needs more warmth and some of the synths sound like presets. Without the vocals, this tune could be really, really good because it'd give you chance to concentrate more on the musical elements which are much stronger. Beats are pretty flat. They don't roll enough, but the snare is pretty good. The ghost elements of the drums need some extra power too.
