Please check out my new track 'The Hunter' and post your comments here!!!

New track produced using flstudio7 alone taking into consideration all advice given on previous track and more advice still would be apreciated

Darkside in style, this track was created using a lot of A - B comaparation and threw in as much low end bass as possible without causing distortion, if anyone is experiencing distortion on this one please let me know

Layered quite a few different drum beats on this one including the infamous amen beats

Basses created from twisting and turning samples beyond recognition, one of which is actually created from a reversed hardcore kick with a delayed attack envelope, followed by various effects such as EQ and compression

Hope you enjoy this track

From when it opened with that great break, i knew it was gunna be epic. I loved every bit of it. So dark and evil, it just sent a chill through my spine. Great work!

Basses/Reeces:
Great job. Those stabs were top-notch, although they sometimes just sounded like samples. A little more automation/tweaking and it would have been perfect. Still excellent, though. 9/10

Drums:
Although it is basically just one loop/break, it still hasn't gotten annoying/repetative. A little more variation would be nice, but isn't nescessary in my opinion. 10/10

Song Overall:
The structure is average, just a repeating melody with a little break that builds up on itself. No need for anything else, really. What i didn't like was how the end was just a fade out, it seemed a bit lazy. Still a good track though, and everything was clear and not muffled. 9/10

Cheers,
Tech ZK

Kinda Philbee-style on this one.
Love those bass stabs man, they are really heavy.
The lead-basses or not as good as those stabs though and they are partly stereo.

Drums roll very well!

First the good parts... I like the way you've processed your sounds, they all sit well in the mix and have a dirty edge to them. The bass is nice and deep, the beats are clean and there doesn't seem to be any unwanted distortion. I would say the main downsides to this track are weak drops (especially the second) and repetition. The build to the drop is good, but it seems to slow and lose power after that. I do like the tune, maybe a slower intro would help. As for repetition, the beats could do with some chopping up and the synthlines could do with a bit of variety... But thats my opinion!
