sup drumnbass be crew! this tune was one of the first i made after a 3 year break in producing (!). So wouldn't say its my best but I'm running out of tunes to put up lol (got a couple in the pipeline that need to be finished). oh I found out after finishing this one that some of the RAM records people (Shimon and someone) made a DnB tune with the same name - damn! don't worry sounds nothing like it
(so pls no comparisons haha)

Overall, a nice tune, if a little standard. The basses do sound pretty muffled, like BD said. In fact, most of the low-end stuff is muffled. The melodies are pretty solid throughout, no major complaints there. I especially like the lead synth melody. However, if this was my tune, I'd think about changing the sound of it. At the mo, it's a little too computer-gameish for me. But that's just personal pref. Nice tune. Enjoyed it.

As the others have said, it lacks clarity, its muffled. But the feel of the song is good, and i think you got what you were aiming for with that Arabian tune. I personally disliked the flute, as it sounded a bit like a bagpipe. The kick need a bit more bass, it sounded very treble-y. The bongo percussion was great, and was one of the only clear things in this song. The bass was the best part of this song, and if you re did this song with a bit more effort and variation, it would be a win for me.

Thanks for the comments guys. I appreciate where most of you are coming from - to be honest technically it is one of my weaker tunes. The bass I simply made by playing a bass sound on my keyboard (recorded on Cubase) and turned the mod up to give movement and fucked around with the pitch bend and recorded it live. same for the synth melody that was just me playing around with melodies on my keyboard then recorded live. The vocal is ME on the mic by the way lol! (shouldn't have told u hehe) I know its cheesy but hence the name. Drums just individual amen hits that I programmed and supported with a hi hat (that Culture Boy pointed out).
Well thats it from me! Gotta finish my more recent tunes, have been putting a lot more time and effort into them - gosh knows how long that will take, until then i'll be on here just to listen and review what you all have to offer! safe

feelin the charmer sounding synth...i really like that..beats at start are too soft and need pumpin up with more eq to creat more body . cut them up a bit for more variation...

yeah again, needs more umph . try som 808 kiks or summit really bang the beats.i like the bass line! tis fuckin bad! try not to use the vocal sample too much thru tune... cut it back a bit

idea is good here, but the execution lacks some.
lots of the main elements are way too quiet and the mix is muddy. its a common problem with tracks that are not EQ'd correctly.

i would actually love this track if it had a good mixdown. the beats n bass combo is dutty!!!
hey 7G, just seen ur message - ur right the RAM records one puts mine to shame! yeah I know it needs EQ and more work, the bass was sampled from my Novation synth keyboard, i never use external harware for bass sounds as its less accurate and flexible than programming but hey!
nice layed back start, like the sound choices, although its all a bit dry at the minute, needs a touch of reverb and delay on sends to bring all the sounds together more and give a better sence of space
agrreed with theother in that the mixdown is very off, some ellements are too quiet or too loud.
i like the idea, especially the bass, just its hard to hear the wobbliness.
thanks for the review Ghost, yeah the one thing I like about this track is the melody and thats about it! I should rework this but im too wrapped up in working on more exciting projects so maybe when I start running out of new ideas i'll go back to the old ones again!!
