Please check out my new track 'Runaway' and post your comments here!!!
This one is a lot more upbeat than my previous tune but it's still got lots of melodic vibes (natch).
The first main bass was created on Massive, layered with a sub using 3xosc routed to the "Just Subs" option on the CamelPhat 3 VST. (Dunno what the fuck I would do without that plugin).
The second main bass consists of three layers playing the same thing: the same sub bass, a reese and a saw synth with some extra chorus.
Massive thanks to everyone who reviewed/listened/voted on my last tune. Your comments help immensely!
Special thanks go to Darkstar and BattleDrone for their comments on an earlier (wank) version.

another wicked tune man , nice , i like this the best , loads of different combos , likin the feel , would like to hear some more fx`s after the drop , just help it roll better , but very nice mate , quality production , peace !!!!!!!!
Wow. Just wow.
Lets start with the intro:
Those vox effects are kickass! Everything comes together smoothly, and the transition into that break is wonderful. Good use of highpass LFO. Only thing I didn't like too much was how the toms near the beginning (congas?) sounded like samples (which they are, but a little tweak would make it sound more real.) 9/10
Main part:
Everything is good. That bass is magical, I wish I had those skills. Not too much to say about it, but the melody is good. A bit repetetive. The reece-like bass is good as well. The drums need a little more variation. 9/10
Ending:
Eh, sounds fine. It kinda ends like a lot of other songs, which isn't bad, but not especially good either. 7/10
Overall:
Is there a download button on the player? It definitely is worth a download. I love the Amazonian jungle aura to it, while it still gives off a darkish DnB feel. Damnit, i want this mp3. 9/10
nice...very nice...definitely something you want to listen to ...only one ting bothered me ...that second loud bass...don't know why...its probably just me or my headphones...effects wise, top notch ...thats all I can say, oh and good melody
nice work with the toms in the intro nice live feel to them, hint of the main bass, nice filtered fade in with the break.
properly nice bass, probably the best Ive heard from you programming wise, although it maybe feels a bit wide when it goes up a notch at 2:28
smooth production skills generally, well balanced mix down.
my only real crit would be that the beats dont feel powerful and punchy enough to go with bass imo, Id have maybe like to hear another tighter fatter snare layered on whats already there.
Pads n additional vocal melodies are to your usual high standard
A definate progression and very nearly pro sounding stuff I reckon
I liked the drums and the structure of the track. Intro and beginning was kind of boring . This part was cool where the saw synth came in. Overall 7/10
Very nice track, mate - clean and crisp production. Lovely atmospherics in it. I agree with technetiumzk, just muck about with the velocity on those bongos/congos/whatever they are at the beginning to make them sound more 'real'.
Drums could be a tiny bit more crisp, but I've heard worse on commercial tracks >.<
Sounds a tad wide on my headphones, should be fine on speakers though.
Overall, nice track, sounds very release-able to me
nice opening intro, very chilled...nice work with sound and filters, drop is ok dude... bass pattern i think could be a bit more groovy, still good but i expect more as i really like the beats
good stuff..
thanks.

hey Tomos how ya doin? Love the intro, love the emotion, nice aaaah sound very atmospheric! nice synths rollin along with the bassline. i dont know if its just me but some of the bits when u filter the beat on the high end it sounds like the res is too much. man it tough reviewing ur tunes because technically everything is where it should be!
melodies throughout the tune consistenly good as always, nice variations here and there - all flows beautifully...don't know what else to say apart from keep up the sick work!
biggupz!
really felt this track! got me noddin a gooden..
intro is lush.filter work on the intro beats was nice...very nice..nice levels and well structured build up. love the samples! the reese/saw is nicely balanced but a bit samey after the first drop but really starts to twist later...wikid track bruv...i would play this
my only advice would be to use the second drop (reese/saw)earlier as i found the start lacking twist. but generally one of the better tunes i heard today! keep rollin
oo oo oo...new tomos stuff.....always look forward to hearing your tunes mate [/brown nose]
Nice intro sounds....like the tribal drums......quite reminiscent of b-complex
i'd drop that high hat you use before the breakdown though....fuck making it more dj friendly if it sounds better without it
here comes the drop......you've worked it nicely but im just not so keen on it im afraid. The sounds are all there and sound good (snare is a touch trebbly possibly)
but once again the attention to detail is high and you can tell you put alot of effort into it.
even though im not so keen on the track you are still getting better with every tune and the production/engineering is getting better and better.
couple of things could be improved though.
the snare is too fsshhy, it should be a little tighter and with more lower end mid on it.
the other thing is the main sub, there doesnt seem to be one. BASS BOOST MAAAN!
oh yeah, some elements sound a tiny bit too wide, not massivly, just a tad.
the rest is just incredible. synth work, arrangment, atmosphere, THE LOT!

You must have a nice collection of wicked tunes starting to amass by now.
Send a few, if they like, send some more. Don't send them all at once.
Will make you seem more prolific therefore more likely to get some stuff signed.
