hello all, right iv been watching a couple of vids on the net and and they all seem to be using spectral analyzers is there any that stand out more than others.

Whose street !?

Not mine nah hah !!

Reason has no vst support and I dinnae like to ReWire so I use a spec an that works dirtectly off the internal audio.

depends on what ur looking for mate - sub bass? kick? snare? each needs to be in a particular frequency range

You can use it in many ways ...

If you use it to analyze a full track you can find out where it's peaking and cut them frequencies down on the overall track using an equalizer.

I prefer using it on seperate instrument tracks though !

Much easier to read without all the clutter.

Also bar graph analyzers are defo much easier than line waves !
