Please check out my new track 'Shotgun' and post your comments here!!!

New short track created using new speakers and a new sampler vst plugin on flstudio7. All advice given on previous tracks has been taken into consideration and any more would be helpful.
thanks

hello..

nice intro, i think that very low sub is a touch too high in the the mix, my moniters are wobbling like hell.. some good beats here, nice grimey sound and good filters on the drums, not bad for doing this on new speakers dude.

thanks.

Freestyle has been permanently banned from this site for the following reasons:
- he tricked people into sending him high quality versions of their tracks, under the false pretense of releasing a drumnbass.be-endorsed compilation album
- he makes threats and insults to members and moderators in personal messages and forum posts
- he uploaded a track to this site which violated the copyright of DJ Zinc
- he created multiple identities on this site with which he used to manipulate his ratings by voting on his own tracks, back up his own posts, and insult members and moderators
- despite being warned about his behaviour and ultimately being banned from this site he continues to create new aliases to threat and insult our members and moderators

I advise anyone to avoid doing any business with this individual, or his "labels" mp3styleproductions.info, drumandbase.info, reverbnation.com/freestylednb, musicv2.com/artist/nebula, soundcloud.com/freestylednb as he is not to be trusted and will probably try to steal your work.

His aliases horrorscope, nu-balance, earthquake, free_style and freestyleDNB have also been banned from this site.

Very industrial intro. Like it!!!

Bass sounds a bit quiet, actually, it may be that sound that is like a broken alarm clock knocking it out. Get rid of that sound, it's getting annoying now.

Some nice beats in it, but they need more power behind them.

Good stuff. It's got a nice dancy vibe, you could dance to this one. The basslines and melodies build up nicely. What kind of filter/plugin have you used on the beats? They sound 'distant' and squashed to me. I'm guessing it's a compressor. I'd either take it off or think about altering the settings cos it's making them sound flat. Overall tho, I like this.

Your track buildup is superior as usual.
sound is a bit strong on the high end (especially hihats and snares).
Do some A-B listening (your track - pro-track you like) on your new speakers to get used to their sound and to adjust your sound.
Track has potential.

I agree to drone that there's to much high end in the mix.
That crackling bass sound that appears like every for bars could use some variation...maybe in pitch or something.
I personally would add more melodies to this and have the bass line playing a few more notes or just a hole octave higher (if possible) for a short period...but that depends on taste.

Btw, I have some new monitors, too so I feel your pain. It's a huge change, especially if you've been used to produce on hi-fi speakers like I was.

Anyway, cool tunage, keep it up!
