Please check out my new track 'The Feeding hand (new version!)' and post your comments here!!!

This is the new version of a track I put up a few days ago.

The track has been cut down to about 5.30 minutes, I think you will be glad to know Wink

I have layered another bass drum under the other one, so hopefully it has a bit more power to it.

The track has a new sub bassline and a few extra effects.

I hope you enjoy it and please leave some feedback Smile

PS. Big shout out to the others who listened and reviewed the last version.

track was made with Reason 3.

Yeah, I'm feelin this Brucy. The kick still sounds a little strange - needs more thud I reckon - but it's a definite improvement on your previous mix, so bigs up for that.

The overall sound is original, I really like it. Very eerie with lots of darkish vibes. Maybe a tad too much reverb in there, which is slightly muddying the mix.

One thing that could take this tune to another level is an evil, low bassline. It doesn't really have a bassline at the mo. The bottom-end of the tune sounds a little sparse - that range could be nicely filled up with a dirty bassline. You've already got a sub in there, so this hypothetical bassline would occupy the low-mid range.

The beats are solid, especially the hi-hat work. I think they're excellent. And I love that very dark vocal-horn-like sound!

Good work brother. Big Grin

Btw, did you want me to delete your previous version?

Freestyle has been permanently banned from this site for the following reasons:
- he tricked people into sending him high quality versions of their tracks, under the false pretense of releasing a drumnbass.be-endorsed compilation album
- he makes threats and insults to members and moderators in personal messages and forum posts
- he uploaded a track to this site which violated the copyright of DJ Zinc
- he created multiple identities on this site with which he used to manipulate his ratings by voting on his own tracks, back up his own posts, and insult members and moderators
- despite being warned about his behaviour and ultimately being banned from this site he continues to create new aliases to threat and insult our members and moderators

I advise anyone to avoid doing any business with this individual, or his "labels" mp3styleproductions.info, drumandbase.info, reverbnation.com/freestylednb, musicv2.com/artist/nebula, soundcloud.com/freestylednb as he is not to be trusted and will probably try to steal your work.

Nice one mate, I like the dark vibe and the athmos in here.
Totally agree with tomos to the hihat work. they give the drum lines loads of texture and make them special in a way.

What could be improved are some of the pad transitions, like the one in the very beginning at 0:07 just stops there.

The sub you added is alright but I think an evil rough bassline would be more interesting here…as long as it is not too overbearing.

Cheerz.

Come on you lot, how about a few more reviews. Big Grin

I have changed this version to a heavier rumbling bassline, but any other comments/ideas would be appreciated.

It was ok, i guess. I liked the drums, but they were repetative.
The whole thing just felt like a soundtrack to something, like a background loop. Yeah thats what i was going for, the whole thing just sounded like a loop. It might have just been me, but there wasn't really a lot of bass in the song. Idk if it was just me though. It was cool, but just that. Cool. It didn't really feel like a whole song to me, just a loop for a game or something. 6/10
Anyways, keep it up, and i hope you improve this. But that's just my opinion.
Cheers, TechZK

hello mate how ya doin? Yeah I remember the original was reeeeaaaly long! like that intro beat actually like the kick / bass drum nice drive. i think just a little variation on that intro beat would be better (or should i say i'd prefer it there)

nice dark atmospheric sounds definately acheive the desired effect.

good point from Tomos, low mid section could have some dirtiness in there, bit more layering would make it sound that bit more "whole"

this is one of those hypnotic end-of-nighters 6am, lights are about to come on, give the crowd some griminess to finish off the night Wink

nice peace of work, i enjoyed
