OK im pretty pissed atm cause fl is being ridiculous, so I started working on a track a couple weeks ago and decided to get back to it yesterday, well my flp opens fine but whenever I try to open any channel for editing or even press a button any button at all, fucking shit crashes on me... ive done everything under the rainbow for cpu usage and still it crashes, safe overloads is on, WTF is going on... every other flp file I have works like a charm, all the sounds load up fine so nothings corrupted, anybody else have this problem?
get back to me PLEASE this is driving me up a wall
oh and I cant export the flp either....

Ouch! We feel your pain brother. In the past FL has completely corrupted two of my favourite tunes but I've never heard of the problem you're experiencing right now. My only suggestion would be to scan through the FL forum, the FL Support section and maybe the FL Wiki website.

Craziest thing, I just figured it out but it makes absolutely no sense to me, it was one instance of came crusher? like the sample and crusher were sworn enemies blowing up the battlefield, but it was just that one, strange
Thanks guys

Whenever such a situation happens: DON'T PANIC-SAVE.
If the program is fucked up it might corrupt your track as well.
Save under a new name.
I've had shit like that too, especially with the Massive VST.

tough break man.....been there a few times myself, lost every flp i ever made a few years ago, not to mention my dissertation a few months before hand in date, back-up your projects often would be my advice.
i always make sure i hit save as a few times and create 3 files of one track then save over them consecutively wheneva major changes are made, gives you the option of referring back to the previous version of the file aswell in case you cock sumin up (which i seem to do all the time).

Oh god, same for me, except Massive crashes when I try to load it.

This stuff happens to everyone one time or another. It sucks. Good to hear you fixed the problem though.

A nice feature to do this with is "save new version" it will save with the same name but with "_version number" tacked on. Has saved me multiple times.

Indeed a good feature. It's better to have 500MB of data in 20 versions of your track (from which you delete 19 afterwards) than not to have any working version anymore.
