Hi, don't know if anyone can help? I am using Cubase SX 2 and Reason to make my tunes and at the moment i am recording them onto minidisc then recording them back into Cubase to get a wav file to put on a disc. I'm sure i am losing quality and seems a long-winded way of doing it. Can anyone tell me an easier way to get my tunes onto cd in an easy to understand way? I would greatly appreciate it, cheers, Luke.

Why don't you just render straight to .wav and then burn the .wav files as an audio-cd?!

Wav is as good as it gets, mp3 is compressed and loses data so the quality is worse.
You should render in wav or a high quality mp3 (320kbps or 160kbps as absolute minimum).
Wav: use 16bit 44kHz

mp3 is lossy while wav is (almost) lossless. If you transfer your files for mastering, burning a final on a cd or in any other case which needs top quality, encode them into wav. (Or you can try encoding them to .flac, as it takes about half of the size of a wav at the same quality, but not many programs support it).
mp3 - as BattleDrone said.
Or you may try Ogg Vorbis, a better format than mp3 for encoding audio, but not so widely supported. FL Studio supports Ogg in the newest version, which is a good thing
