When I start up cubase I keep encountering an error syncrosoft error message(no protection device connected) I wish I Knew what to about this situation because it's a real Headache. I bought this program and I cant use it, that dosn't make sense. can somebody tell me what I need to do please. thanx

Give it back to your friends friend other friend who also knows this guy, guess he's a friend, save some dough and buy a legit copy with dongle included or there areee other ways

get a proper version, ask cubase support if still aint working.
otherwise try out the demo of ableton maybe

where would i get the demo from then. and is there other way i can rewire massive and reason 3 cos thats all i want cubase for at the mo.

The latest copy-protection method they're using is a little USB stick that stores your license and ability to use the program. It needs to be plugged in at all times when you are using Cubase or it wont work.
As I understand it took about 3 years to get a reliable cracked copy of SX 3 so if you can't be arsed to wait most likely even longer for 4 then I'd suggest buying it like I have :p
Ask your friend of a friend if they have the USB dongle, and if your friend of a friend is called Demonoid or Pirate Bay then I'm afraid you're out of luck there lol
