Please check out my new track 'The Feeding Hand' and post your comments here!!!
I did a remix of the track 'Hand That Feeds' by Nine inch Nails. The track ended up sounding nothing like the original and I decided to recreate it again using my own sample/sound using Reason 3.
This is the result. It is not finished, but I would like a bit of feedback on it. This version is a bit long (7 odd mins) and need a bit more work doing.
Any comments would be appreciated.
My other mix is available for download in the producers private board.
Thanks and I hope you enjoy

I get that DB is supposed to be continues...as you said your self odd 7 minutes long...expected some drum programming brightening up tough...but the beat it self made me feel like I'm in some sci-fi movie running from some cyborgs...The durums were different form anything I have heard...strange but fitting as far as my opinion goes.
listening now, intro seems to carry on for a little too long, its smooth tho, you seem to have some extra percussion that peeks in the high frequencies, a very dark roller here, 5am crew
now at about 2mins, needs some rumble bass in there i think to complete the frequency range, some really nice sounds and fx so far, 3min breakdown? theres a sound(kick maybe) its either cliping a bit or it needs eqing, drop back rolls in sweet, something missin here and i have no idea what, maybe you could add a vocal in the distant, tune itself for an unfinished piece is pretty good, alot better than another site i am a member of and there tunes are finished, high standard here mate, alot of thought and time has gone into your piece.
look forward to hearing the end product.
thanks.

- he tricked people into sending him high quality versions of their tracks, under the false pretense of releasing a drumnbass.be-endorsed compilation album
- he makes threats and insults to members and moderators in personal messages and forum posts
- he uploaded a track to this site which violated the copyright of DJ Zinc
- he created multiple identities on this site with which he used to manipulate his ratings by voting on his own tracks, back up his own posts, and insult members and moderators

I advise anyone to avoid doing any business with this individual, or his "labels" mp3styleproductions.info, drumandbase.info, reverbnation.com/freestylednb, musicv2.com/artist/nebula, soundcloud.com/freestylednb as he is not to be trusted and will probably try to steal your work.

Sounds good so far. I think it needs some more oomph though. Its very ambient, I think either a nice melody or some crazy shit bass would make it more memorable. Delay stuff in the breakdown is cool, not big on how the main bit comes back in after the breakdown. A little more tension would go a long way. When your melody comes back in from the break let us know man! You don't want people missing that one!
Technically pretty good, too ambient for my taste tho.
A unique sound. Yes, very ambient, I like it. Lots of cool reverberated sounds. Something that needs urgent attention tho is the kick. It's hardly audible. Also, the beats sound like they've got a high-pass on them? They're too high and mid-y for me, they need some deeper frequencies. Same goes for the bass too. It's doing the right things but the sound is a little thin and oophm-less. I do like the overall melodies and textures. They create a nice, unqiue vibe. Bigs up man.

It is a very ambient /sci fi sort of track. I never intended it to be that way, well actually, as I said in the intro, it is just a remake of another remix I did with my own sounds...
walcor - 'The drums were different form anything I have heard'.
The drums are totally my own. The intro drums are actually from the NIN track I remixed, but my own break. The second break is another break I made, but with various FX an certain drums. Also a lot of messing with fx on the actual WAV I created.
freestyle - Thanks for your comment. Could you tell me the other site you put tracks on? I would like to check it out.
[dj] Leonces - Thanks mate. Must admit, I'm not happy with the second drop. To sudden innit!!! I have only spent a few hours on this mix, so it is more a blue print really.
Tomos - Thanks for listening mate. Alway a pleasure getting review from you. I know what you mean about the kick, something I will have to look into. I created a loop for the main break and messed with loads of compression ect on it to try getting an original sound. I may have destroy the bass on it though. This is one of the problems using an old laptop connected to an old ghetto blaster from a charity shop
Thanks again, I will have a can of Brains for you when I get to the Welsh Bar tonight.
yeah i think that the intro is a bit long, but then again, if this was pressed onto vinyl you could use all that to mix into another tune (just keep it in the background and slowly bring it in).
definately a dark vibe going on here, i think its missing a bit of "oomph" if that makes any sense, that bass sort of grinds away but i think maybe some melody shifts would give it a bit more personality.
