So i have inserted some samples in my nn-xt sampler, if i right click a sample and create a scream distortion on it does it work, or does it patch it all on all my samples of that nn-xt sampler?

why not try it and see.

Not as if it'd take long.

Probably could of tried it by the time you've logged in and started this thread.

You could always read the manual.

the distortion will be patched to all of the samples in your nn-xt, EXCEPT, whe you manually route samples to a different outpout and map this outputs to different fx/mixers
