Hey,
i have seen that in reason 4 you can have multiple pattern lanes for one instrument. And you can adjust volume by adding another lane for this, simular like in fruity loops, drawing straight/crooked lines for volume/presence.

But how exactly do you do this? i have seen it, but don't know how to set it up myself.

right click on a sequencer lane -> new note lane

I never really use that, I just saw it there.

they way I do it> right click on anything you want to appear in the lanes (frequency cutoff, volume etc) and choose "edit automation"

automation lane for it appears in the sequencer and the window focuses on it
