been a while due to some serious pc malfunctions, and being busy and all for school.. this tune cam "tusse de soep en de patatte".. hehe don't know how to translate that.. hope u kinda dig it.. it's still in a very early stage but i've been listening to commix lately and i've tried to make sumn' in his style.. i repeat i tried.. hope you like it.. fl6

eazy mate. i like the way u start off with a kinda hip hop beat which doubles up in speed to DnB good combo.
tune seems a bit bare at the mo, definately could do with loads of fx and maybe a couple pad layers with a filter run thru it, needs more atmosphere

hi , like it , kinda kraftwork meets hip hop and dnb !!!!!!! dident like the panning on the beat at the begining , needs eqing in places , very original nice overall , deffinatly needs some fx n shit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Panned snare is nono. Keep it in the middle. The whole thing doesn't seem to glue together. It sounds like a rock song rather than DnB. Get some groove in your bassline, you structure the track like rock, drop the lead drop the chord stuff, make your bass lead things.

so you got a weird FM guitar in the start, but the overall volume is so quiet. still the guitar is a nice little sound tho, i appreciate it, and the drop is still effective, but it all seems like a mild video game music, and to be honest there's no reason it's bad for that. it changes up every once in a while keeps me interested, so i don't mind, i dig it then. just some of the snare drum roles like at the 2:40 time seemed quieter then the rest of the snares.
yea i like that synth at 3:16 it plays through out but it's got such a nice distortion on it, you must use reason.
what it misses, other then a mastering limiter to bring upt he volume just 3db even maybe 4.5 is a little bit of a hook, you got a nice melody, but you should get some other element there, even half a vocal clips in there twice would help, which are hard to make fit in a track but for that reason they help so much.

thx peepz, i know it's kind of a strange tune, but i never begin a tune with intentions, the tune just comes over a period of time.. i know i should get reason but i'm low on cash, and downloadin' shit like that only results in a broken computer..and piracy is a crime

anyways i think i'l just mess with it some more, see what comes out, and if it never works, to the trashcan with that stuff and redo a tune form scratch.

Yeah, deffo not a dnb tune but I still love it. Those melodies are excellent. Kinda reminds me of Depeche Mode. It's got a nice groove too. EQing needs some attention. There's a little muddyness to the mix and it's a little quiet. The snare and kick could do with more oophm cos they are lacking punch.
But yeah, I liked this one a lot. Cheers.

synths in the intro sound a little amatuerish, could use some effects and altering, they jus sound like basic presets at the mo.
hip hop break is a nice idea, panning is a little extreme tho, maybe some subtle panning would give a nice illusion of movement.
bass isn't deep or powerful enough, needs more to it to make the drop more exciting.
the elements seem a little distint from each other, they dont seem to gel together very well,
a fair bit of variation in the tune keeps things pretty interesting.
the bass at around the 2:15 mark is a little better, got a bit more beef to it.
some nice drum arrangements, drums sound a little weak tho.
everything seems a little quiet too, mix it all a little louder or get a limiter/ maximiser on it to bring everything up a little.
not bad overall.
